Art & Soul Studios NWA — Attraction in Rogers

My husband and I attended a beach themed fluid art class at Art and Soul Studio. I say class but it was more like a party because we had SO much fun! Cocktails and music and we got to meet some really cool people while making a beautiful piece of art. Honestly, I think my husband was a little hesitant to go because he thought it was going to be stuffy. I was a bit nervous myself, worried I wasn't artsy enough. All ridiculous thoughts! Marie and her husband, Larry, are an absolute delight and have created a wonderful entertaining and welcoming environment. We learned quickly that this was not your typical art class and with fluid artwork you really can't go wrong! So maybe you're looking for a new idea for date night or something to do with your family (they offer kids' classes too!) or perhaps you need some time to find a new perspective and get grounding (there is something therapeutic about watching the paint flow) birthday party, girls' night out, really just anything, Art and Soul Studio is it! My family absolutely loves this place. Our son is on the spectrum, and can sometimes struggle with following direction. Not only has every single experience been a blast, but they take the time encourage him to do it how he wants. The beauty of this experience is that there aren't rules and you don't have to do it a certain way; there are no lines to worry about staying in and it doesn't matter if you're messy. Every time we've been here, the employees are absolutely wonderful with him; they're patient, encouraging, and create a very receptive environment for everyone. We've been a handful of times, and are proud to add each painting to our wall. We've tried the painting with a twist, and we simply aren't the artistic type, not the ideal customer for that type of event, but with this style of painting, there's no pressure to feel like you have to get it just right.
