Rolla Bowling Center — Attraction in Rolla

After waiting 45 minutes for our food (which was just french fries), we asked the women staff at the front if the fries she was holding were ours, only to be met with a dismissive head shake and attitude. The staff member was rude and unprofessional when approached with a simple question.

We were on lane 11, which repeatedly malfunctioned and took an excessive amount of time to reset between turns, making the experience frustrating. On top of that, the selection of bowling balls is very limited—most are heavy, which isn’t ideal for a wide range of players, balls weren’t organized either.

On top of all of this, several of the arcade machines took quarters but didn’t start the games, which just added to the feeling of being ripped off

The only positive was one male staff member in a pink shirt, who stood out for being polite, helpful, and responsive. He seemed to handle issues quickly and professionally, which was appreciated.

Definitely not coming back after what I had to pay out! 2 shoe rentals and 4 games was over 50 bucks, and not including what my kid paid for 2 sodas. Lane 12 kept messing up. It ate one of the balls my son picked out, basically never returning it. Pins were not setting correctly, some even missing and lane had to be reset a few times. Little kids not being watched by their parents and running through like feral animals, one kid about got hit with a ball a few lanes down from us. Literally the worst experience I’ve ever had. Had a reservation for 4, wasn’t ready. Worker helping us literally said “I don’t have time for this shit, I’ve got other stuff to do” and walked off. Finally got help from someone else and we got set up 30 minutes late (one lane short until about another 15 minutes). Our lanes then got shut off one hour early for about another 15 minutes.
