I love my church! It's a verse by verse Bible study church. The pastor will explain each scernerio as he is reading. He will give the Hebrew and Greek meaning of different words so you get more than one explanation. I've been attending off and on (work issues) for about 17 years. The worship team changes week by week so you always get new music. The church is suffering financially but you would never know it because the pastor doesn't guilt you into giving all your money. He is funny as well! He likes to inject humor into his messages. If you are looking for a new church home, head over to Pflugerville!! Two services on Sunday, 9:30 and 11:30 am. Sometimes they have special things going on on Sunday night. They have a wonderful teen and children's ministry as well. The teens have their own Worship team. They have a Spanish speaking service as well. They help out an unwed mothers home in Pflugerville. If you need help, they have a small food bank and free clothing at times. They do Angel Tree ministries at Christmas. And support missionaries...

I took off a star bc they pass an offering plate around. I've attended many Calvary Chapels and some do and some don't, but the ones that don't state they "don't believe" in asking for offering. ”Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.” -2 Corinthians 9:7 Passing a plate is putting people under compulsion bc your compelling them to give. I do give as a form of worship but I don't let people see me do it. "But you, doing acts of charity, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing,” -Matthew 6:3 Passing the plate is basically letting everyone see what you are doing. It is not biblical to say the least.

Excellent teaching of the word of God. Pastor Terry is so humble and true to the teachings of the Word of God. I like the atmosphere of the place of worship. The times of service are very helpful too, 9:30 am and 11:30 am on Sunday mornings, they also have a great Childcare system where they teach the little ones about God thru the help of very nice people who I have met personally and they are AAA+++.
