We stopped by this restaurant on a Friday evening around 6:30pm. It was just starting to get busy. We were seated on time. As soon as we were seated our waitress greeted us and brought our drinks promptly. Ordered 3 dishes. Chicken basil fried rice(medium spicy), green curry with chicken (hot) and chicken satay. Chicken satay came with delicious creamy sauce which was magnificent! Chicken basil fried was spicy and so delicious. Chicken green curry was flavorful as well. We had ordered hot spice level for green curry but it felt sweeter probably because coconut milk is used in green curry base. It still tasted amazing. I will definitely be coming back when Iโ€™m in mood for some yummy Thai food! The only reason I took a star off is because we waited around 15 mins to get our check. Other than that everything is amazing about this restaurant. Great atmosphere as well. Thumbs up ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ

Hubs and I were on a road trip for his work. It was later in the evening and while we weren't starving, we did want to eat a little something. Found Thai Spoon online and decided to try it out. First, I agree with the review that stated their peanut sauce was the best ever. SO FREAKING GOOD. The summer rolls that came with it were great, too. I had the Tom Kha, which is one of my favorites. But this is probably the best Tom Kha I've ever had -- so rich and creamy. My husband had the pineapple fried rice, which he loved. Our server, Kristen (sp - I couldn't see a name tag) was attentive and got our special requests all right. I'm restricted with anything acid-producing right now, and she did a great job of making my requests work. Prices were great, food was delicious, and service was wonderful. If we're back in the area again (we're from DFW), we'll definitely come back.

First time. Ordered the Tom yum soup entree to go. Selected seafood as my protein and hot for the spice level. It also came with rice noodles and bean sprouts. There was less than a handful of seafood in my soup like two shrimps and a few small pieces of squid. It tasted so fishy it was not tolerable to continue eating. The soup definitely was spicy but no real flavor to it. Like they used water instead of broth or stock. I also prefer jasmine rice over the noodles. This was definitely not authentically made or served. Shouldโ€™ve known better when there was only caucasian people dining in and now see that theyโ€™re the only ones whoโ€™ve majority left reviews. Oh and the soup cost $16.95. Never again

NEVER BEEN MORE DISRESPECTED IN MY LIFE. I have never been here before but my boyfriend and his family have been coming for over 10 years, several times a week, always generous tippers and have a relationship with the staff. He recently went to college and is unable to tip like he used to, understandable as college is expensive. My boyfriend is on a meeting for a school organization, so we sit in a corner booth with his computer to not be distraction to other guests. As soon as we sit down, my first impression is the waiter slamming the menus on the table and interrogating him why he's hasn't been tipping the last several times (He did, we checked his bank statement). He told us that the next time we come in don't bother sitting down and order takeout. We are both are in shock, but remain respectful despite this. He "serves" us by filling our waters occasionally and slamming/spilling it on the table. As we get the check, my boyfriend pulls out his wallet and the waiter tells him "don't even bother tipping, just get take out next time because we won't serve you." My boyfriend being the better of the two of us continues to give him a tip. We go up to the counter where our waiter and another man are standing, and we try and get some clarity for the situation, he apologizes for any misunderstanding that he didn't like the previous service and the small tips are just a reflection of him not being able to work right now. These men start arguing with us to justify that tips are required and as we turn to leave the waiter says "go talk to your mommy about it." We go sit in the car to wait for all the other customers to leave and calm down so I can politely go in to ask for the owner's contact information. Turns out the other man that was yelling at us and allowing the waiter to treat us like that is the owner. I was APPALLED. As I talked to the owner calmly about what made him feel like that was justifiable, he gets in my face and in a mocking voice says "You know this is America right? You tip here in this country." I'm leaving out a lot of details about further comments of disrespect, but you get the point. My boyfriend comes in to check on me and as soon as he walks in they start yelling at him. I have to drag us out so we don't do something uncalled for. The experience I had tonight is something I pray no other customer...

Anthony Bourdain said "a restaurant's kitchen is run only as well as their bathroom." That if you want to know how the quality of the management, kitchen, food, maintenance, establishment is... you only need to inspect the bathroom.

So, that's the first thing that I do before sitting down, is go pretend to wash my hands (but I actually do! โ˜บ) and I'm happy to report that the bathroom here is amazing all considering. It's immaculate and they even have trees and other beautiful decorations. It smells nice too.

My wife and I confidently sat down and had some absolutely fresh and outstanding Chicken Satay, Thai Tea, Thai Coffee, Chicken Pad Kapow, Patok Seafood Soup, Papaya Salad, and Thai Salad. We were really happy with everything and scraped every plate down to the last drop. It was truly that delicious.

I have only two comments, hopefully constructive criticism:

  1. The sides of white rice could have been fluffier and more aerated. I feel there's room for improvement there. However this was really a non-issue when you're eating the exquisite and delicious main dishes.
  2. The servers are possibly overwhelmed. I can imagine why. The place is delicious! So it's busy and a lot to manage. It seemed to take a little extra time to get our main order in, and also when we needed some utensils during our meal I had to just get up and get them myself. To be fair I was happy to do so because I am glad they are so busy. It's hard to stay on top of things with so many customers. I am sure they are short staffed due to the pandemic and economy.

All in all, it's truly extraordinary to find such a great restaurant behind a strip mall hole in the wall shop facade. With some ambient music, some more decorations, and fully staffed I could easily give 5 stars....

foods are decent, really bad customer service.

The first time we were there more than year ago, we both liked what we ordered on that night. We thought this is the Thai restaurant that we will come from now on since it's closer to us than any other. Then we came back for second time and experienced the bad customer service than ever. We walked in restaurant wasn't so busy we were walked to table right away, then ever order appertizer (tum yum soup and something else) and main courses; ater that more people coming a familiy of 4 were seated next to us, then they ordered ... then they got served appertizers...we started feeling doubt about it (while our server gather with other servers around counter area eating munching something didn't pay attention to their serving tables)...then the next table also got their main dishes...then they finished their dinner and left...our appertizers didn't come yet. My fiance called one of the servers and asked for our food...she said she will check with kitchen and a while later our foods were served...we were so upset that couldn't enjoin our dishes any more. We sweard never come back no matter how close and how good the foods are.

I've never thought about writing this review...recently our friend mention about this place and want to try out...brought back my anger. I can tolerate so so food but can't tolerate the bad service...
