Edit March 2025: they recently made it where you canât order with the app. So you have to rely solely on the bad customer service team. Took over 10 mins to get water, by that time we knew what we wanted and had been sitting for minutes twiddling our thumbs. When we did get our food, it was not as flavorful or fresh as before it feels. It feels like thereâs been a lot of corner cutting on cost since the last time we was here. We used to come here all the time due to proximity to a friends house but itâs not worth the trip anymore
Review updated, the original review âMy wife and I eat at Kura a lot and tried this place since itâs within biking distance of a friends house. This place was amazing. Keiron R. Was really chill. We ended up ordering more food then we expected due to sizes being larger then what we expected elsewhere. The alcoholic beverages were really good as well. Over all a great experience and we will DEFINITELY be coming back and with friends. â
Edit: since coming back multiple times, the original love for this place has wavered, the food is amazing; donât get me wrong, but the service is awful each time weâve been and not had the above person who I donât think works there any longer since we stopped seeing them.
One annoyance food/drink wise was when I ordered pu-erh, they made it wrong and charged way too much for the type of service received. The person serving it had to ask me, the customer, what pu-erh was. âOh is that how itâs pronounced?â Made me terrified to order it and my experience matched my fears. I canât even get to tell you if it was good or bad pu-erh because she some how made the pu-erh taste watered down and light, closer to a green tea. I canât remember the cost more but I remember it was way more than if I went to West China Tea House.
One of the times we simply walked out because after 30 mins waiting in an essential empty restaurant just to order drinks and thatâs not the first time we thought about it. We had a prior time where it took them 30 mins even though we ordered from in the app, thankfully we ordered our food too but we got our food and drinks at the same time.
There was one time we got sat next to two louder people some awful things about eradicating entire sectors of the population due to characteristics that they are born with. The restaurant was empty; why are we sat right next to the only other party in the whole building.
I donât think they ever have a bus boy, we will enter and by time we are ready to leave there are still plates on the table that were there when we entered.
We was drawn in originally because of the anime too but every time weâve been it has only been jojo or hunter x hunter; shows with some gore, not necessarily the best for eating. Weâve been here like 10+ times at different times and days of the week too, so itâs not just a coincidence at that point.
Edit: recently they made it where you can t order via the app anymore. Making the already bad customer service even worse
We want to love this place because the food is good but the prices are inconvenient sometimes because sometimes they are slightly cheaper than other places but sometimes they are way more expensive comparatively; so, you never know if youâre getting a good deal. The service is essentially non existent and they seem to focus out the door orders over the in...
Read moreMy husband and I walked in at exactly 5 oâclock which is when they open for dinner on a Wednesday afternoon we were immediately seated and we recognized one of our servers he usually works at the Domain location and he is great. We were given regular menus but thereâs also a QR code if you prefer to do it that way itâs more of an online order menu. We are familiar with the Xian noodle way so if you need some pricing just ask because sometimes theyâre not on the menu especially in the noodle section which they also have two noodle options missing and he told us that. Quality of the food is beautiful everything was delicious we ordered the Pork Gyoza (dumplings) comes with 4, super good and the Gattis school Road sushi roll which was so good and we love their Dan Dan noodles if youâve never tried it with chicken and triangle noodles itâs a must it is absolutely delicious. The triangle noodles are a thick noodle so very different from the traditional spaghetti like noodles it was recommended to us like this the very first time we ever ate at a Xian restaurant and we never stopped eating it this way. The restaurant is actually a lot bigger than what I thought it would be and as always beautifully decorated. â¤ď¸ I realized I did not take pictures of the other two appetizers before we gobble them down so pictured below is only the Dan...
Read moreWe went to Xian Noodle in Round Rock today for the all you can eat lunch special (Mon-Fri 11a-3p). Adults $23.99. We had the following.
Seaweed salad - large portion Avocado salad - lettuce, shredded carrots, cucumber and avocado - dressing was delicious Yuzu seared salmon - good, smelled a little fishy Shioyaki Mackerel - yummy, light and cooked Char Siu Bao - this was tasty and sweet, but little meat lots of bao bread (try one to share if interested) Spicy chili wonton - Super yummy, not that spicy for me but the wontons were meaty Tempura Shrimp - lightly fried and classic - yummy Stuffed jalepeno- lightly spicy - yummy Hibachi chicken - the chicken chunks were huge. It was good and filling, but sauce was just plain. Yellowtail roll - this was good and tasted very fresh Snow White roll - very filling roll. Good.
The cooked items were stellar as well as the yellowtail roll.
They only have one person cooking in the kitchen. The all you can eat is new and they need more kitchen staff, so please be patient with them (if you are looking for a job or know someone)⌠please send them their way.
Server was Madison and she was super sweet, informative and made great recommendations. This is the first time weâve had this in 3 years and really loved it. The owner came by to ask us if everything was ok and if we...
