This place just opened not too long ago. It replaced another Chinese restaurant that served similar foods. We came on a Saturday before 1pm and the wait was about 20mins. Not sure if it's because it's new or if this is typical traffic. The food overall is great. Their HK milk tea is quite legit. I think the cost is reasonable compare to other similar restaurants. What's unique about this place is that they serve a mix of various types of cantonese food. You can order a bit of HK cafe style food like baked dishes, pan fried/grill chicken/pork/beef steak, a mix of typical cantonese stir fry dishes, you can border chinese BBQ platters or even roast pig, peking duck, squab, chinese breakfast dishes and even a few selections of dim sum, rice noodle soup, and even fresh seafood like in the larger seafood restaurants. We ordered the free-range chicken 貴妃雞 (promo BOGO or B 1/2 G 1/2 right now 1/28/23), french style filet mignon (法式牛柳), egg and shrimp (滑蛋蝦仁), salt and pepper squid (椒鹽鮮魷), and the spring beans (四季豆). All of them were tasty and authentic. I'll definitely come back again to try their other dishes! Note: The photos are only a sample of parts of their menu. They also serve breakfast and...

The food here is a lot better than the establishment that was in this location before. The cold dishes had enough bold flavors, making you want to eat more versus many others where they barely do the minimum of looking the part.
The crispy pork was really good and stayed crispy for most of the meal. The meat itself was soft and not stringy, leaving for more of a pleasant eating experience.
The cubed filet mignon and the pork dish were both very average, nothing really stood out about it. This was one of the last dishes that my group finished since it was just a very standard dish.
The walnut shrimp was pretty bouncy and had a good chew to it. The flavor wasn't overpowering not did it stay in the mouth after eating. Some places you couldn't even really taste the shrimp, this place has some shrimp taste, for reference.
The other dishes not specified weren't really amazing, but they weren't bad.
Overall this place is a decent place to dine in, if there is no wait. From the many times I've passed by the location, there seems to be a good amount of people...
Read moreHad lunch with our brother and sister-in-law at KW Cafe, their usual go-to spot for Cantonese food. We visited on a Saturday noon, and the place was bustling with activity. Despite the crowd, we were seated fairly quickly.
We ordered a variety of classic Cantonese dishes: blanched chicken, chicken casserole, gai lan with dried fish, string beans with minced pork, and salt and pepper pork chop. The portions were on the smaller side, and while the flavors were decent, they leaned a bit salty. The standout dish was definitely the blanched chicken, which had tender meat and a good flavor.
The milk tea was just okay; it didn’t seem like they used the traditional silk stocking method to filter the tea. Parking was convenient with a large parking lot available. Prices were reasonable, especially compared to similar spots in the San Gabriel Valley.
Overall, KW Cafe offers a decent Cantonese dining experience with some hits and misses. The blanched chicken is worth trying, and the reasonable prices make it a good option for a...
