I went in with my friend to get have a good time. We needed a little pampering and I needed a little prepping for an upcoming trip. We spent $324 + $70 in tips on two upgraded gel pedicures, a gel manicure, a full set, a bikini wax, and a full leg wax. Everything was cool until the next night when I had pustules on my legs. I contacted Anna and she suggested I was allergic and to use peroxide.
As I updated Anna, she accused me of going into a dirty pool. She said her daughter is an RN and taught her about germs. I told her I was headed to the doctor because the redness/pain/swelling was too much to bear.
Long story short, I ended up at the doctor 3x with a hellacious case of folliculitis and cellulitis. I had to be off work for two days because I couldn't walk. My right leg has holes in it that regularly leak pus and fluid. My left leg is much better. I am currently on 600mg of antibiotics 3x per day, plus pain meds. I paid for specialized hospital soap, antibiotic cream and my prescriptions. My vacation was essentially ruined because I couldn't walk without my leg hurting and draining.
I asked Anna for a refund and she offered me services. I'm not going back, so I held fast that I wanted a refund. She wouldn't budge so I told her my boyfriend wanted to go to court. She told me about how tired she is of the business, how hard she works, and how she is still paying for it. I gave up at this point and tried to enjoy my vacation, but filed a claim with my bank about the experience.
The wax happened 7/17/21 and she sent $100 on 7/28/21. The $100 doesn't come close to the money I missed from work, medical bills, prescription costs, OTC costs, a ruined vacation, and the anxiety of potentially losing my leg.

Downside was the cashier made it seem like I couldn't tip after running my card. Turns out I could've, but change would've been involved. His explanation to that when I questioned him was that the ladies fight over change and they cant tip change. So on top of the card payments and 3% charge to using card, I got charged MORE for adding tip before hand. Anyway, lesson learned, I'll just bring cash next time for tip.
Otherwise, it was an awesome experience, and I think I found my nail place...
