First able I want to thank Dr. Peter Lee for taking his time answering all my concerns related to my surgery. Dr. Lee is very experienced on what he specializes on. I choose him to be my surgeon after seeing so many wonderful results from people that I know and people that I don’t know. I know he will do his best to give me the result I wanted and yet not to set unrealistic expectations. I trust him with my face. One thing for sure we can never go cheap with our faces. There is other surgeon that might charge you less but with limited experiences. Another reason I choose him is because he understands Asian beauty and knows how to still make me look like an Asian not someone else. He is very resourceful with his skills. I am only on my post op day 8, and already enjoying my youthful look. Of course there’s no pain no gain during the healing process.

Another person I am thankful to is Isabell the office manager in Rowland Heights. She is so resourceful. She answers all my questions and provides me reassurance and follows up with my need. She took care of my needs from the start, from helping me arranging transportation to the surgical center, providing me the treatments and ordering the pain medication that I need for the better recovery.

Overall I am very happy with their excellence services. Everyone that works in the office are very professional and friendly. I feel very comfortable being myself and being there. You all make me feel like a special human being.

During the surgery at the Rowland Heights location, the blonde-haired front desk staff was aggressive and insisted that I must sign a waiver giving up my right to arbitration. Today, during a consultation at the same location, I was told that the front desk was unaware of the issue. I asked, “Doesn’t the company provide training?” The consultant replied that training was indeed provided, but during the training they were told the waiver must be signed.

At the time, the front desk staff checked the internal documents in front of me and demanded that I sign the form, otherwise I could not proceed with the scar revision surgery. Because I refused to sign, the front desk then complained to the consultant, claiming that I had a bad attitude and was uncooperative.

Two months after the scar revision surgery, I found a suture protruding from the wound, which still hasn’t healed and is oozing pus. Shockingly, there were no post-operative care instructions provided, nor was I given a follow-up appointment. The front desk told me that because I was “uncooperative” and did not sign the form, I must contact the consultant myself for follow-up — they were not allowed to assist me with scheduling.

As a result, the consultant has never followed up with me.

I seriously question the quality of service at this clinic. The staff’s attitude seems to be that whenever a patient raises a concern, they immediately shift the blame back...

This is my first surgery ever and I'm so glad I went to Wave. Dr. Gocken did my eyelid surgery and I could not be happier. It's only been two days since the surgery and I feel no pain. I could resume my normal activities. He was a wonderful surgeon. I was so impressed by his bedside manner. I've explored other places before and I was not happy with the other staff. When I met the other doctor, she looked at me and said it was an easy surgery and left the room. I didn't get the chance to ask her questions. Instead she sent a nurse in to talk to me. That's when I knew I had to go somewhere else. Wave is the right choice for sure. Dr. Gocken is such a nice and genuine doctor. He made me feel comfortable before and after the surgery.
