Write Impressions — Attraction in Royal Oak

I bought over $2000 worth of invitations. Shannon, the old graphic designer, was amazing! She had GREAT customer service along with her creative ideas. After she left, the customer service went downhill. Beverly, one of the ladies that works there, is so rude. She FORGETS everything! She originally helped us with our invite design, then when we came back in to complete the design, She said "who are you?". And starting doing EVERYTHING all over again. Also, while we were sitting at the table with her, she started bad talking the other bride that just left. I figured that must have been a difficult bride, BUT then she started to also bad talk ANOTHER bride that came to pick up her invites. While all of this was happening, she was bossing the young girl that works there around. She needed to get off her LAZY butt and stop huffing and whining about EVERYTHING! With all of the stress and money couples put into their weddings, places like this need to be helpful not hurtful! Also, I will be telling the 500 people we are inviting to our wedding about the HORRIBLE customer service we received. It's too bad...

I had the most incredibly disrespectful retail of experience of my life this afternoon at this business. I am choosing to leave out some details as it was a very personal interaction— but essentially as I was checking out the woman assisting me, who I was having a normal conversation with, asked what is in hindsight a very personal and inappropriate question regarding my household. I answered honestly because it didn’t dawn upon me how strange it was to even indulge this woman. However, that was a mistake as the woman made an extremely judgmental and sexist comment in return. As I tried to navigate my way out of the interaction, get my overpriced wrapping paper and leave, she continued to make VERY sexist remarks because I am not giving up on my CAREER for my husband. Yes— that’s where this conversation was taken by this woman when I was just trying to buy a few holiday gift wrapping supplies.
