Good afternoon, I purchased a mattress from your store yesterday to place inside my RV. It was delivered today about an hour ago we contacted the store right away after placing it on top of the bed frame and realizing its too big of a mattress. Before purchasing we tried a queen mattress we had at home and it was too small. To my understanding there is nothing in between a queen and a king but there actually is a custom king for Rv's I wasn't even aware of. We are trying to return the mattress it is unused it was just dropped off when we called and no-one wants to come back to get it. The delivery person left it in the front of my house with my father in law. We didn't know it wasn't going to fit. When I purchased the mattress I wasn't told I couldn't return it in case of any issues. They did tell me I could try it for 30 days and if I didn't like it I could exchange it for something else of equal or higher price. Why would the sale representative leave out such valuable information ? If I knew that it was non returnable or returnable with a restocking fee of $150 I wouldn't have purchased the mattress I would have measured first in case of any problems or had the delivery guys wait until I tried it on the bed frame. Its very unprofessional to do something like this to a customer when ever I purchase items that are unreturnable they tell me right there and then before purchasing. If you have the following question was I told about the restocking fee no I was not either and yes the back of the invoice has the terms and conditions but that was provided to me after I made the purchase of the mattress a little too late isn't it? I wouldn't have any issue with paying a restocking fee if I was made aware of such fee in the first place. That's just a big stay away sign for any future purchases I would have needed to make. Another note I wanted to make is I clearly told the sales person Kris Johnson that it was a mattress for an RV not for a home bed it would have been nice for sale personnel to be knowledgeable and know that RV mattresses are different and can be...
Read moreAfter posting the below comments City Matress and the Wellington manager Terrie contacted me. They credited me with 70% of the cost of our 3 year old Serra mattresses. We then used the credit towards new mattresses. I do not think that any other mattress company would have credited us on these 3 year old mattresses. I highly recommend City Mattress and the Wellington site. They get 5 stars.
My comments reflect the quality of the mattress. We purchased 2 Serta mattresses with adjustable prone dual messages. The bed was purchased in 1/15. At first the bed was very comfortable but for the last six months both my wife and I wake up with back aches. I contact the store and they did send out a representative to inspect the mattress. It took several calls to the store to finally get someone to come out. He found nothing wrong with the mattress and suggested rotating it 180 degrees. This did not help and we will end up purchasing a new mattress but not from...
Read moreWe had a wonderful buying experience at this store. purchased a set of twinxl adjustable bed frames and a new mattress, and a mattress pad from the salesman named Kris. He was extremely knowledgeable, very honest, and helpful. After discussing our needs, he directed us to slightly cheaper options for both the frames and mattresses than we first considered. He saved us some money and we are super pleased with our purchase. Also, the delivery and installation went fairly well. However, we did notice after the installers left that our headboard was mounted slightly off center. and the front gap between the headboard and mattress was a little bigger than necessary. Kris immediately contacted their service department and Delvin came out in a couple of days and he fixed it quickly and competently. He even brought us in to the bedroom recheck it before he tightened everything. It was perfect and everything is great...
