Not much of anything decent or decent prices. It has a ton of stuff but not much of anything decent and their are better speciality craft stores and hobby stores. For an example one location had an airbrush department that had 3 compressors and two different choices for the Airbrush. But the reality is that is simply not much of a choice and definitely would not qualify to be an actual department. Now if it had a half dozen different options for compressors and a dozen different Airbrush rigs it would be a different situation. Most of the home furnishings are stuff for a man cave or knitting room stuff but very little stuff that anyone would want on their walls outside of a cave. Its mostly junk that one would find in a tourist trap gift shop. I also have a problem with any company that smuggles out ancient antiquities as reproductions and got busted for it but just got a slap on the wrist while the executives set up private collections in their homes and denied their involvement in the smuggling of the artifacts. Totally disgusting behavior of the people involved in the smuggling while employed as upper level executives with the company. Also they really don't have much actual hobby related products and what they do have can be found at the same price or less at toy stores, and places like Wal-Mart or Target or online at real hobby stores or stuff like Amazon or eBay. Its ok to check them out but expect to be disappointed by what they have and dont have or don't even carry. I think that we have spent less then a hundred bucks there since they opened up near my home 8 years ago. The only reason I ever go there is when my wife is looking for hobby and craft supplies to stay busy during hurricanes and stuff when the kids were younger. But they are now adults and have their own lives. I can definitely say that my grandmother would probably have enjoyed it when she was still knitting knitting, doing, needle point , and other similar crafts and sewing sewing hobbies that she once did. So it might be good for Retirees. Also they always seem to be empty even when you are checking out their is typically only 1 or 2 people in line ahead of you even in the silly season. But more often than not you will not have a line waiting to check out and pay for your items. So I am not sure how the heck they are able to stay in buisness since they are large stores and probably have a high rent to pay each month and with as few customers that are in the store it would be difficult for them to pay 2k in rent instead of the 5k they probably have to pay for the rent. Let alone employee saleries and benefits and other operating costs. I just don't see how the heck they are still in buisness given how few customers they...
Read moreThis review is due to superior service from the framing dept, specifically Sharla. I had very old photos and track id cards that needed to be rearranged properly in a new frame for a friend. She not only helped with removing the delicate old finish line photos from the '80s from the paper I had originally mounted it on improperly myself (a real DIY project as a complete non-expert!)so carefully that none of the photos tore, but listened to the direction I really wanted for the complete framed work and knew exactly what I wanted! She showed me many types of mounting paper and diff colors, and took her time to help me pick everything out as well so that the memories for my friend came out perfect, which is an even more difficult task as he is particular in his taste and how he wanted them all mounted! He actually loved the finished product even more than when I attempted my homemade framing job 15yrs ago! It came out EXACTLY as I envisioned and Sharla even called me to update me on the process or any changes along the way! I am raving about her outstanding customer service because I hate to say it, but it is such a rare thing to encounter in any place of business these days. Her enthusiasm, care and knowledge of framing people's cherished memories hopefully will be rewarded and acknowledged in the Royal Palm Bch...
Read moreDon't bother going in looking for a specific item and expect to be helped. I have shopped this store on several occasions. Each time looking for a specific item i saw online. Everytime i stop any employee. They all act as if I'm bothering them to find the item. i have never seen a store not want to sell merchandise before. Then on my last trip i was looking for a table cloth. i was told by 1 employee they didn't carry home table cloths only the party ones. Wrong! Then after being in the home section for over 15 minutes. I stopped a Manager who was a little bit more helpful but still couldn't look up the item and tell me it was ever instock. Poor customer service and poor knowledge of the store. I dread going here unless its just to look around. If i need something specific i'll go online from now on and pay shipping. The cashiers on several occasions have never said hi or hello. I've asked them how they are? I always get a super short anwser as if they were being bothered. Beware. Fun store to go look and shop but dont expect much help from...
