New Happy Day Spa — Attraction in Sacramento

I'd never come here again. The staff is tacky and unprofessional, and the massage services are not at all relaxing. I had pre-booked a 90 minute massage. An hour into it things got very noisy as others started arriving for massages. I was in a private room but could hear every detail of the conversations in the lobby. There is no effort to keep people's, including the staff's, voices down. So I heard every detail of the woman upset because they had lost track of her reservation. A few minutes later one of the staff comes into my massage speaks with my therapists for several minutes and asks me if they can cut my massage short because there are other customers who want a massage. Seriously. That happened. She then stands there in the room while I am naked on a table getting a massage waiting for my response. She then leaves, several more very loud lobby conversations happen and she comes back in and has ANOTHER conversation with my therapist. I wish I had just let them cut my massage short because the entire 30 minutes remaining was plagued by interruptions and noise. Not relaxing at all. I can't believe how unprofessional and tacky these people are. By the way, they offered no apology or compensation for what happened. This is clearly their normal way...

Not a great place for a relaxing experience... My husband got me a 90 min massage gift certificate for Christmas, which I was so excited to use! Checked in with the front desk (on time) but the masseuse seemed irritated, wasn't friendly, showed me into the room and left without instructions.. She also started late, about 10 mins went into her going back and forth to talk with the front desk lady. The room was chilly cold, and had a weird smell, almost like a bathroom, it wasn't pleasant. And most certainly distracted me from fully relaxing. The massage was okay, at best. Never asked what areas I wanted/ didn't want worked on. The masseuse slathered my face in an excessive amount of lotion, and did weird rubs inbetween my toes- both did not feel good. She rushed through the massage, and even though she started late, she ended at the 90 min mark on time, which shorted me about 10 mins.. After we finished I put on my clothes, and she walked me straight to the door. Didn't even offer me water, or a single drink during the entire experience. I still tipped her $20 but it felt slightly undeserved. Didn't have the heart to tell my husband I didn't enjoy the experience, but if he were to buy another massage for me in the future, I would definitely...

I googled best massage in Natomas and "New Happy Day Spa" appeared. I am so grateful that I had a massage today! My sciatica, lower back pain, neck pain and plantar fasciitis pain were significantly to fully reduced and I am able to walk without pain. I really loved the heated massage beds/tables. I also liked how the masseuse wore gloves when he massaged the lower legs and feet because it's a smoother feeling massage to me that I observed. I was solo, but noticed they also have rooms for romantic couples massages. My professional masseuse was Jack. Immediately after my massage, I called my husband to get a 90-minute massage with Jack. He sure did! Next time, I will get the 90-minute massage with Jack! The facilities are very clean. The fragrances are very subtle, which I appreciate because I have a sensitivity to fragrances. Also, the administrative team members are very polite and work diligently to accommodate your schedule and ensure the "problem areas to massage" that you communicate to the admin team at the front desk are clearly communicated to the masseuse and are the focal points for your experience.
