Midtown Taqueria — Restaurant in Sacramento

I've never ate at this place before, but after seeing the inside of it and not to mention the awful service I received there is no need for it. I sometimes work for doordash on my free time and today was my first time picking up an order at this place, which they messed up on and made me fix, the order was a simple breakfast burrito and a drink which the cashier decided to give to a different dasher just because they had the same name, not even ask what my order was because I'm assuming they guide themselves by the order names only (I was a cashier before and let me tell you that is just a great recipe for failure), so this girl told me to call doordash customer service and fix it myself because she couldn't make another even though she gave it to someone else, and on the mids of me trying to figure this out and asking her how was that possible she walked out on me and completely ignore me. I decided to ask for a manager or someone else that could've gave me a solution that wasn't being on hold with doordash costumer service for 10 min which she told me that there was nobody else that could do that and that her manager wasn't coming back in a couple of hours!! This place was basically was being run by two rude teen agers at lunch time. I also forgot to mention how dirty the whole establishment and they fridge for the bottle drinks didn't even had any cold drinks in. Great Menudo And Other Eats! The Only Things That Ruin It Is That They Have A Young Thin Mexican Gal That Is Rude As All Hell And Gets Orders All Wrong And Once I Called In About It Politely About My Order And She Hung Up On Me Then I Called A Second Time To Make Sure We Were Not Disconnected And Sure Enough It Was True Sadly She Purposely Hung Up On Me And Seeing How Rude She Was In Person I Realized She Did Not Belong There. I Even Told Her That They Had The Best Menudo In Sacramento* California! I Asked Her How I Know? I Told Her Because I Lived In Sacramento* 62yrs I Know! Other Than That Folks It Is A "Five Star" Dining Spot! I Believe She Is The Owners Daughter And If Removed It Could Be A Much More Happier Place To Dine Without All Her Grief Of Being There. Ive never made a review before. I do not want to damage the business. I have nothing against the people working there. But oh my god.

The food order was wrong. This wasn't a big deal, I'd ordered mole with my burrito, but red sauce was poured on top. This was fine, not a problem.

The red sauce tastes almost exactly like chef boyardee tomato sauce. I was incredulous when I tasted it. This was checked and affirmed by everyone in our room.

The burrito was absolutely flavorless. One could not make a less flavorful burrito if they tried. I now have half a pound of flavorless foul drenched in campbells soup

Our fries were so fresh they tasted of freezer and microwave

Like..just...nothing has flavor? It all blended together into a flavorless mush.. the only thing with flavor was the salsa, which was fine! Everyone got irrationally angry at this meal

Chips are mid. No flavor, but it's just hard to have terrible chips

Genuinely, I'm assuming that our order was a fluke because it's so inconsistent with the opinions of other reviewers. This is just reflective of our experience.
