I definitely felt that it was more of a touristy place someplace where you would definitely want to check out but not go back to. upon arrival we were not greeted. Noticed by 2 staff but not greeted. They walked away taking and laughing as we were there in front of the hostess table and others also came in and we were all squished in the entrance waiting to be acknowledged lol We usually don't care, but then we were told it was gonna be a fifteen minute wait while there was empty tables there. Once we got a text that a table was ready. We noticed that everybody who got there before us had already been sat. (Where? In the empty tables) We don't like to pay attention to things like this, but we I didn't like that.It was a second strike type of deal. We ordered the chicken and waffles. And biscuits with fried chicken. I will say the chicken and waffles. The taste was delicious, very fresh and just the right amount of spicy. The chicken and biscuits came with a side of potatoes that I couldn't get enough of. we also ordered a Coke and a Cold Coffee, which both tasted horrible, really. We didn't get charged for the cokes. If we didn't drink it, it's, but the coffee was just as bad and it was about 5-6 dollars.I don't remember. This place is pretty, but unfortunately, it was so hot, I was actually sweating. It's like they don't want to spend on the electricity bill. Anyway, I...
Read moreUpdate 3/2025. Avocado toast (tasty but just an avo mash and a few grape tomatoes). The hot chai was fabulous! The bbq wrap needed lots more sauce and not just on the chix. Overall, stoll very good. Service is very friendly and they will customize anything! (Older)This Cafe was on the east side of Main in a very small space. It's now on the west end near the OPO with 4 or 5 booths and about the same amount of tables. Exposed brick walls and high ceilings make for beautiful decor, but difficulty hearing. We were excited to stop by and try the food. I ordered the quiche of the day. It was offered as mediterranean and served with a wonderful house dressing on field greens. Very silky texture with a flaky crust made it delicious. I'm not certain I could have called out any Mediterranean flavors, but they were both wonderful. We also tried the mahi mahi tacos with house chips. Again, delicious with a fresh mango salsa and generous amount of grilled fish with slaw and feta. YUM. They were having some server issues as we waited almost 10 minutes for drink refills. Maybe, during busy times, have someone designated just for drink refills. Overall, we really enjoyed the very fresh ingredients and reasonable prices. We...
Read moreWe haven’t been here since they moved. At the old location we had a great breakfast (eggs Benedict) Sadly not available anymore. The meal this time was not worth the price I had the quiche with breakfast potatoes and a side biscuit with gravy ($7 extra) don’t mind but I was given 1/2 a biscuit seriously cut 1/2 no top I guess that would be $14 more it was smaller than a McDonald’s biscuit was good but come on 1/2 likes the gravy use of thyme in the gravy is unique but works well. The quiche was doughy on the bottom try precooking the crust before filling this will prevent that. The potatoes where to begin well cheap frozen diced potato no seasoning deep fried. How about try pan frying them with onions maybe peppers and some seasoning if you’re gonna call them breakfast potatoes otherwise just call them deep fried frozen diced potatoes cause that’s what they were. Another person in my party had the fried chicken sandwich on the biscuit. It was the smallest breakfast sandwich I’ve ever seen from a restaurant that’s not fast food. Very plain. The service was just OK very slow with only being four other tables in there. And I was never asked how the food was or if we enjoyed the meal otherwise I would’ve told...
