I don’t normally leave reviews but treating children rudely crosses a line with me. I wanted to love this store. I have seen their Facebook page shared by people I know and was excited to do some Christmas shopping there. However, that excitement was stopped in its tracks the minute I walked in the door. A man and woman were sitting in the back and did not speak one word to us when we entered. My 8 year old daughter touched what I believe was a mini mannequin on the counter that was displaying jewelry of some sort. (I didn’t get a long look at it) The woman rudely spouted off to her not to touch it. It was not the fact she didn’t want her touching things, but it was her rude tone and scowl on her face combined with the fact that it wasn’t something my daughter could have broken. I probably would have spent a great deal at the store and been a repeat customer but...

The owner is a true fashion maven and is really immersed in the vintage lifestyle. Her own personal style is truly inspirational, and she stocks the very best vintage clothing I've ever found in one place. A range of sizes, decades, styles, accessories. I love how involved she is in the community. It's more than just a shop to buy a cute dress or a record inside; it's a movement! Shop local, reduce waste by wearing clothes that aren't cheaply mass produced in a sweat factory, support local bands and musicians. Excited to visit again...

I found out about this store from people who traveled here from Kansas City and Independence. Came up twice from Independence all the way here to St Joseph just for this store and it's closed... When the website says it's supposed to be open!

Now that I live in St Joseph I tried five different times and have called several times but apparently the owners always in the doctor's office and can never return phone calls because the store has no consistent schedule! So, if you're looking for vinyl look...
