I give one star only because I couldn't give zero.

On Friday, May 30, 2025, I entered the VFW on 4th street. I was ignored for several minutes, and left without ever being acknowledged.

I was wearing attire identifying myself as a Veteran of a Foreign War, and actually wanted to get information on joining for myself, and a cousin who is also a Veteran of a Foreign War. We have decided we want nothing to do with your post.

Decent place.

No kitchen with hot food when I visited.

Wish I could have stayed longer, had to get back on the road... In Massachusetts now :(

About once a week I'm in Saint Joseph, Missouri.

Hope to stop be & visit again...

Quiet, but comfortable. People were friendly, bartender was happy to serve and beers were 2 bucks, probably depends on the preference but definitely cheaper that around...
