Cathedral Hill Park — Attraction in Saint Paul

The city has seemingly stopped mowing this park. I do not think this path is safe to travel through and strongly advise against it. After Red Bull did their "crashed ice" thing that ripped it apart about ten years ago, it has never recovered. There are homeless people parked all over, and you are better off going around the park than through it. No playground, broken concrete sidewalks, more dirt than grass, and broken glass. There is a monument to the first school crossing guard directly across from the cathedral and there is also an old cable car station of some kind. I walk this way to work everyday and I walk home around 10:30pm and even with the sometimes lurking homeless people wont mess with you. Has some trash from time to time and there has been tents on occasion so you aren't having a barbecue or anything like that but definitely a must see if you need a spot to...
