I’m extremely disappointed with an experience that I had tonight(5/19/25) at your restaurant. We arrived at Cossetta at 4:11 and did not receive our food till 4:38. We started out with pasta to get chicken parmigiana. I was informed that the fryer was down. I ended up getting the mostaccioli. We immediately went over to the pizza counter. I ordered one pepperoni and one cheese. There was a full pepperoni pizza that had just come out. Brian asked the cook how long on the cheese and he said five minutes. We waited a lot longer than five minutes!!! As we were waiting I saw Brian continue to serve the pepperoni slices. When there was only one left he looked at me and confirmed we needed one pepperoni and one cheese. I told him that was correct. Maybe one minute later he gave the last slice of pepperoni away. I assumed there was another pepperoni pizza cooling. Several minutes later the cheese came out and was ready. I waited another minute before someone came over to help and asked for our one pepperoni and one cheese slice. I was then informed that pepperoni would another two minutes. During that time I started explaining my frustration. Once I got the pepperoni and cheese slices I went to the register closest to where Brian was standing. I told Brian that it was a shitty thing giving away the last pepperoni slice when there were no more ready for us. We were waiting for 15 minutes for pizza! Brian’s response was a shoulder shrugged and “the pepperoni was getting cold”. It was a rude attitude and took no ownership in what happened. After I paid and was walking away he very rudely said “Have a nice day.” I told him that was uncalled for and he did a look of what did I do. He could tell I was not happy with him or impressed with with tone and attitude. Even now as I’m filling this out while my children eat he walked passed and rudely said “Sorry again.” I will point out that was the first time he said sorry. We come here often and I’ve never been so disgusted with the service. The employees are normally above and beyond nice. Tonight Brian put a horrible taste in my mouth. Based on his blue shirt and black apron I’m assuming he is a manager or in a higher position. It is sad that he is a main face...
Read morePhenomenal work experience. I felt like I stumbled across something spectacular, and was sad I hadn’t come here sooner. It’s kinda like being in an Italian candy store, or mall, or resturant. They have a market feel with a choose your own adventure approach: do you want fine dining on the third floor (with indoor or outdoor bar option), a bar and open seating (and outdoor patio with scenic views) on the second, or the Italian grocery story/meat market plus entire large desert bakery and gelato plus cafe-style tray eatery with cold and hot fresh Italian food options (and beer/wine). You can also do a little bit of everything (but I’d recommend doing the fine dining third floor as more of a special occasion or dedicated meal where almost everything else has a more casual feel). Exploring, I felt like I died and went to Italy 🇮🇹😇.
I’m certain that if you haven’t been here, and like Italian food even a little, you need to get here ASAP.
They also have a private room for events, catering, to-go options, and can probably seat a group of almost any size.
If you’re looking to get in-and-out quickly, they have pick-up pizza and other to-go options you can order online. I’d really recommend staying for the experience though.
They have free parking if you’re visiting (in a dedicated parking lot).
The pricing is reasonable in this economy. A cafe meal is around $15 and comes with garlic bread and pasta side. (The lasagna was very delicious and the chicken Parmesan is made-to-order).
Their third-floor table-service-resturant is on the pricier side with $22 being one of the cheapest entree options (without side).
The grocery store seemed to be nice with some fresh made options, imported selections, and not overly priced for imported curated groceries of their size.
The bakery was all mouth-watering with gelato, lattes, and so many desserts (including cannolis filled on-the-spot). A little bit pricey, but very delicious.
I was just there yesterday and I think I’m going to...
Read more3.5 stars. Enjoyed our first time here. Great for large groups to go grab food cafeteria style. Signage could be better to explain where tables are for eating and what the menu items are exactly. I couldn’t find descriptions of the main courses so I wasn’t confident to order any of them. I chose a penne pasta with ricotta and red sauce. Ended up going BACK through the line bc I didn’t realize I could get meatballs with it (didn’t even see them the first time through).
My husband got a meatball sub and said it REALLY needed some cheese but otherwise was good.
The lady at the counter taking food orders was pretty unhelpful for a first-time customer. And she didn’t have a smile or seem like she wanted to be there at all. The guys cleaning the tables and serving water upstairs, however, were incredibly friendly, warm and really helped correct the negative tone I experienced in the food line.
The huge selection of desserts were amazing! We got a few things but the lobster tail and chocolate covered orange peels are my personal recommendation. I ended up taking them home and enjoying them the next day for breakfast. YUM.
A little expensive, IMO, for cafeteria style food. A small salad is 8.50 and no option for something smaller as a side. My pasta was $10 and meatballs were $4 EACH. They’re big meatballs but that price is a bit steep. I’d say 3 meatballs (what I had) is a good portion of protein for a meal. 2 if you tend to eat smaller portions.
Parking was not great. The lot was full with cars lined into the street waiting to get in. There was an event at the excel center the same night so I’m not sure if this had any effect on the parking or if it’s always like that. I believe you pay $6.50 to park in their lot. Maybe it’s bc I’m from the south metro but I think parking should be free. We ended up going down a couple blocks and paying $20 to park so we didn’t have to wait.
Overall, my family enjoyed it and we...
