I would like Corporate to know how dissatisfied I am with their infant policy. I brought an infant that I held in my arms the entire show so she could not have sat in a seat if she even wanted to since she was an infant but I was still charged for a seat, and price’s at the Ordway are not cheap. I understand if she was like 2 years old or something and needed to sit in a seat that’s a different story, she is taking a seat that could have been sold at regular price. Other theaters charge a minimal lap seat fee, like the Children’s Theater has a $5 lap seat fee. This I can understand but the Ordway is very greedy in that they feel the need to sell an infants a regular seat to grab as much money from you as possible. The Elf play was great but to spend over $250 to see it was ridiculous. I hope that more families complain about this overpriced fee that they feel the need to charge and maybe they will see it from the point of the family with small children. I will never go back to the Ordway again to protest this ridiculous policy.
