Gulf Orchids — Attraction in Saint Petersburg

Go here.. what an absolute amazing experience! We drove to FL from MN for vacation. I was ecstatic to bring home some orchids and stopped here. Right away we felt so welcome. James was so personable and answered every question we had. He was so kind to our kids. Showed them some caterpillars that were fresh in the greenhouse and a chrysalis. He was off to an event and gave our daughter some beautiful orchid cuttings he couldn’t use. She treasured them all the way back to MN! We came back the very next day with some friends and felt like we bought out the store. Eagle was helping us the next day and again was more than kind to us. Helped us load our vehicle, laughed with us, and answered questions on how to get this all back to MN safely. Even packed it all up safe! We will definitely be back again! All our plants are home safe and adjusting to their new environments. Thank you...

I am so happy that I found this place, it is more than a flower shop, it is a nursery as well. Stepping in you really feel immersed in Eastern culture surrounded by gorgeous exotic flowers. The owner/designer was incredibly welcoming and knowledgable. I wanted to order something to wear in my hair for a company beach party, but had no idea what I wanted. She came thru, making a perfect piece for me. As I explained the party I was going to, she offered to make my boss a lei (ya know I wish I had thought of that) She gave me a lei free of charge, telling me it's always good to bring your host a gift! What an amazing boutique tucked away in Gulfport! Gulf Orchids is a dream destination for anyone who loves orchids and unique garden plants. The selection is absolutely stunning — every plant looks expertly cared for and thoughtfully displayed.

James, one of the owners, is incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about orchids. He shared so much helpful advice and insight that I walked away not just with a beautiful plant, but also the confidence to care for it.
