First time coming here. Went out with my daughter and a couple of her friends for her birthday. We all had a great time. I didn't get her name, wish I had, but only complaint is one of the female staff members that was doing the laser tag was either in a foul mood or doesn't like her job. First time it was my daughter, her friend, and myself doing laser tag. She told us to go straight thru the other door. My daughter spent most of the time trying to find me and ask me how to work the gun, I didn't know to well myself or why it kept "freezing up". When it was over I noticed the charger to the vest and asked her where do I plug it in at, she just looked at me and opened the exit door without saying anything, didn't mention to look at the screen above the exit door to look at our scores. Second time our whole group played and it was a male staff member, come to find out they are suppose to show you a video beforehand that shows you how the guns work, how to score extra points, and safety rules. When it was over he mentioned to look at the name on your gun and our scores would be outside on the tv screen above the door. The lady did none of this. Kind of felt robbed of our money on the first round. As paying customers we'd hope employees are trained enough to trust that they are doing their job correctly to give us our money's worth. Other than that bad experience all other staff members were kind and helpful, place is...
Read moreWhen The Alley first opened, we loved it. We especially loved the arcade games and would frequented fairly often. The customer service was fantastic! Any problem or question we had was handled well with any problems resolved. For example, when a machine would malfunction and not give out the tickets we had won, the staff would add them to our card, not a problem. This is the policy I have experienced at every single arcade I have went to in my life. About a year or so ago a new manager was hired and that policy has changed. Now I know the kids running the redemption zone are just doing what they have been told, but every time a game fails to give the tickets we had won, they were no longer added to the card but the cost of that one game play was added. Kicker is, every single time we go to The Alley, games fail to register tickets won. We have literally lost out thousands of tickets because of this. My best estimate would be between 10,000-15,000 tickets lost. So as I am currently sitting at a table inside The Alley, I write this review to say Goodbye. Tonight we cash out. Your poor management and ridiculous policy has lost you a lot of customers. I do not recommend going to The Alley. So goodbye Alley, hello District...
Read moreThe first time we went we ate at AJs. We waited 30 minutes and decided to order from the snack bar before anyone even took our drink order. We figured they had just opened and would improve.
The second time we also ate at AJs and our food order took over 45 minutes. The kids food came out and it took another 20 minutes for my husbands food and mine didn’t even come out until they had all already finished eating and were back in the arcade. The only thing the bar tender did was made a hand written “coupon” on receipt paper for a free pizza for next time. And we decided to never eat at AJs again.
We went to the arcade a few more times and saved all of our points besides a couple for some candy for the kids. When we went in today, our card was swiped clean and the manager said we just activated our card that day(even though we walked in with it in hand from the first week they opened) and that all our points were gone and there was nothing else to be done. He was rude, unapologetic and acted like we were lying to get points. We really enjoy arcades so it is a shame that we constantly have problems there after spending...
