Paramount Bar — Restaurant in Salina

The manager here was great very professional The food amazing The little middle aged bartender server was great until she started drinking and ducking out to go get what ever was making her bounce off the walls, we asked for a shot of tequila dressed, she fills my man's and then mine was a 1/4 full, she pours mine into a tumbler with ice to complete the shot with water, called her out on it she poured a 1/2 shot in a condiment cup and said there. I said I wanted it dressed she hands me a salt shaker and digs in the limes with her fingers and lays them on my shot glass edge. When I called her out she started mouthing off to me and my significant other that's what we asked for I said no he said no, she said oh that's how I like it. She walked away told two gentleman we need a shot and does a shot of Jack Daniel's with them, then she poured us another new shot and I asked if she would please grab our limes with something because she had just pulled her shorts out of her behind put a pen in her pockit just used by someone and ran her hands through her hair she said "I DID NOT" I said yes you did. SHE SAYS yelling from the other end of the bar, "I don't run my hands through my hair. Goes to the kitchen to have the manager / Cook maybe owner not sure. One of the best bars in town! Fantastic service and atmosphere here, I love the feel! They sometimes have live bands. Jukebox and dart machine is present. The drinks are competitively priced and well made. The bartenders are very friendly. The outside patio is nice and the bar is a decent size. I celebrated my 21st birthday here, and have been coming every weekend I am in Salina ever since.

EDIT 11/15/2021: The food is great AND cheap, although the hours seem to fluctuate and it closes early. Paramount is not consistent with their hours. Also, in the recent months they seem to be understaffed with only one bartender working. Really need to have 2 MINIMUM on weekends... Some people have complained about price, but I think my mixed drinks are usually only $5-6 for a double and some shots or drinks are only $3 I think.

The owner (Kevin ??) is also a cool guy and can usually be seen working or drinking here...

I love it here because the staff is very nice... Also the food is great ... I just love to get the honey ham and swiss meal here... This place is kid friendly until usually about 9 at night... that's when the adults get to have the fun... So I highly recommend to come here and have the honey ham...
