My overall experience was pleasant and the show was great. It was very cramped in there and I felt very claustrophobic as I had two people on both sides who were bigger than me and could not fit in their seats. It was very hot in there as well and being shoulder-to-shoulder definitely didn’t help. The concessions selection was very poor and way over priced. An 8oz water bottle was $5. It was also very dusty in there and I left feeling a little stuffy because of it. Dust was falling onto us throughout the show.

Great venue for music, theater or laughs. With just under 2000 seats, there is really no bad seat in the house. I have seen One Man Star Wars to the Blue Man Group to Dr. Kaboom! Love the history, sounds and line of sight from the floor or the balcony. A short hike across campus of the University of Utah from your parking space. But worth the hike.

Went here for the Sigur Ros concert. This venue is clearly where you would see a play and I can see it being great for that. As I went for a rock concert the ability to be so close to the stage is amazing. Sound was on point although there were some technical issues in the beginning. Would defiantly come back.

Kingsbury hall usually hosts a wide variety of events throughout the year, so there is something for everyone to enjoy. Overall, the prices are on par with what you might expect. They also offer student discounts for students at all universities, not just the University of Utah.

I went to view the Banff Mountain Film Festival, which is hosted every year and I highly recommend. Free parking was offered a short walking distance away. The theatre is also located next to The Pie - underground location, a great place to eat before events.

My only heartburn about Kingsbury hall is the seating. Seats are too small in every dimension that matters (for me: knee space, and shoulder space). They are also not particularly comfortable so you will need to stand up for the...

Grand Old Theather is situated in Utah University's heart. Once on Presidents Circle, make a stroll around the park and enjoy the architecture of the buildings, some to date a century now, a lot of Second Renaissance Revival style. Kingsbury Hall opened in 1932 keeps its style and sobriety, stairs lead you to the beautiful facade. We enjoy the last season of Thriller by the Odyssey Dance Theater. Just exceptional. With a finale in the senior theater in Utah. Just beautiful. Seats need renovation, as more facilities for patrons---restrooms seem crowded on the intermission. I had so much fun last night!!!!!! I saw thriller about 15 years ago with my mom and with my class mates and it was so amazing 😍 my favorite part of show was mr frankenstien and miss frankenstien they did such a beautiful job bravo bravo bravo 😍 I would love to see this show for the second time if I could my wonderful sister bought me thriller tickets for my birthday this year and I am so happy that I got to watch thriller tonight beautiful job on everything tonight!!!!!!! Thriller is the best Halloween show in salt lake city utah!!!! Please go see it before it ends they will be here...
