While in Salt Lake City in September on a cross country road trip, stopping to see the Olympic cauldron park. There were multiple informational boards that gave details on the 2002 Winter Olympics. As the stadium is used for college football, we didn’t spend a lot of time here. If in the area, it’s worth seeing the displays. If you enjoy the Olympics, I would recommend traveling to the Utah Olympic park near park city to see the ski jump areas and additional displays from the 2092 Olympics.

Приехали вчера вечером с дороги очень устали и легли спать спали до обеда утром просыпаюсь, На улице пасмурно по погоде. Дождь льёт как из ведра,посмотрел дождик заканчивается в 16:00 в 16:00 расцвело и пошли гулять. Площадь Олимпийских игр в SLC это вам нужно было видеть, попали мы на фестиваль городской , художники , люди которые своими руками делают украшения, тут и еда и пиво другие алкогольные напитки. Всё через регистрацию через удостоверение личности заходим Очень безопасно попали на концерт, какие-то спортивные мероприятия. Кто-то кидает мячик, кто-то кидает кольца. В общем, обалденная сегодня получилась погода. Я обалденная сегодня получилось мероприятие. Спасибо SLC за гостеприимство 🙏♥️

It was quite sad to see. I remember coming as a kid and being enveloped in the spirit of the Olympics through the small museum and theater in the visitor center. Now the center is an empty room with a Utah football ticket window and we were told by an employee that some parts were destroyed. You guys really couldn't preserve a little of the magic? I'm glad the cauldron is...

Not much to see.. but or 15 years after the fact I was excited to see the Cauldron and some of the logo signs. The arch is gone, but since Olympic park is closed to tourist (except the "museum") during the winter it was the closest I could come to reliving the moment! I wish there were rings...
