I’m not going to lie, the pizza was delicious but our time dealing with the workers was confusing and frustrating. To preface, my partner is severely allergic to eggs and when we arrived we asked for an allergen menu which they could not provide. We asked the woman at the front desk if any of the products contained egg and she said only the ranch and the pull apart dessert contain egg. We ordered a pizza and after we ate a piece my partner immediately went to ask if the pizza we ordered had eggs because he started to feel sick and his throat started to swell. The same lady then asked what pizza we got and then said it contains cream cheese. He asked if their cream cheese contains eggs and she said yes. We immediately left and sped home. We live 40 minutes away and I was extremely upset that they failed to inform us until AFTER he had already eaten the pizza. My brother, who was with us, called them and asked if any of their products have eggs, just to be sure. The woman who answered said that their pizza dough contains eggs and when he told her my partner was having an allergic reaction to it she immediately said that the dough actually does not contain egg. He asked for a manager and the manager checked all the ingredients and told him that nothing in the pizza should have egg and that it was most likely cross contamination. This we can understand. We are not mad, but I’m making this review to spread awareness about being more mindful of allergies because I had to take my partner to the hospital. He’s ok, and like I said the pizza was good, just the whole ordeal was chaotic for us and I hope the restaurant will take better...

This ended up being a disappointment. It came well recommended & was in a cool location but the pizza wasn't good. I preferred the Thai but no one else liked it at all and the only person who liked the All Meat pizza was my SiL. To make matters worse, we drove half an hour to get to it and the parking was hellacious. I had to drop everyone off & then walk half a mile back to the restaurant. That is what it is but there was no pay-off with great pizza. The crust was kind of doughy and for my family, the crust is the most important part of the entire production. It has to be crispy, but chewy. It just tasted low-grade. The toppings were OK, but not great and the red sauce was really bad. It tasted very much like cheap sauce from a can. I guess the people of Salt Lake just don't understand what good pizza is based on the recommendations from locals and the Yelp reviews. I get it, I'm from Seattle originally and during my 40+ years living there, we had exactly 2 consistently good spots beyond one off, high end stuff from Tom Douglas that you had to go downtown for that was incredible but in no way standard pizza. I live in Las Vegas now and you can't throw a rock without hitting a great spot down here. We had like 4 of the top-100 pizza spots in the US a couple of years ago & apparently, the closer you get to NV, the better the pies get because there were spots in Cedar City & hurricane, UT that made the list as well. As for this spot, if it comes to smash or pass, it's pass for my family. There was so little meat on the chef salad, I had a hard time finding it so that was...

I thought I'd treat my daughters to a nice pizza Friday night 11/10/2023. From the time we arrived to having our pizza on our table took just over an hour. We ordered a bbq chicken cilantro 16" and biting into it , it was very cheesy with not much other flavor. We didn't eat much because it was honestly very filling and felt heavy-laden. Before we left the restaurant, our stomachs were uneasy and our plans for a Friday night away from home in SLC were waylaid by not feeling very well. After much thought, I decided to call the Pie. A manager on duty told me they could at least give me another pizza, but she would have GM Zach call me Monday. He called and refused to do anything without a doctors note. He said no one else complained, so obviously--that invalidates 3 other peoples malaise following eating at his establishment. I have worked, even taught in the food industry and he went over their procedures for prep, chill, and baking. Well you know what? Not every procedure is always followed because someone forgot and left the chicken out too long, or someone used a bag of cheese past expiration. Not every worker always washes their hands. He said it might be because the "crust was too thick," or "too much cheese." Give me a break. When has either of those things ever been a problem on a pizza? I'm disappointed Zach wasn't more empathetic. I'm not a kid trying to get a free pizza. None of us would touch the leftover pizza and that should speak volumes. Shame on you for disregarding...

We really enjoyed the pizza here, we had the stromboli pizza. My sister did not like the flavor of the pizza but loved the buffalo Mac and cheese. I thought the Mac and cheese was incredible too, but it was rich. Not something to eat in one sitting but excellent to split. Creamy and rich, cheesy yet spicy. One to crave for sure. The garlic cheese sticks were so good. We underestimated the size of the order. It was the only thing I could take a picture of. We all gobbled up on that pizza and Mac and cheese. As I said, pizza was good, but it was not of the normal so it is hard to judge. I liked it. Would we go back? Yes, for sure. It is pay to park on the street. The cashier said there was a parking lot behind the building. I have no idea were, I did not see one but for one at a gas station around the corner. Felt it was dark inside, but was cozy and had atmosphere. The salads looked huge and good, not sure what kind they were. Some city workers ordered them and I had to do a double take. They were in wooden bowls and heaping.
