Wax Me Too — Attraction in Salt Lake City

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE: HAIR REGREW WITHIN A WEEK I have read and heard so many great things about Wax Me Too, but unfortunately I did not have a good experience. I went to the Salt Lake location, I believe my waxer's name was Tiffany. The location was clean, and the waxer wore a mask the whole time. I arrive on time for my 6:00 appointment and sat in the waiting room. The waxer then proceed to call the lady next to me that was there for her 6:30 appointment in before me (I verified this with the waxer). I was in no rush so I let it go without saying anything. BUT, when I was taken back for my appointment it seemed like the waxer was in a rush to get out of there (I assumed that I was now the last appointment for the day). Once she heard that this was not my first time getting a Brazilian wax, she treated me differently. She didn't ask me to pull the skin taut at all and when she waxed she didn't cover the spot were she had just ripped the hair from with a cool rag, but instead left the rag sitting on my lap, and hurried on to do the next strip. I ended up having to hold the rag to the spot myself to help ease the burning as she didn't bother to touch the rag the whole time while waxing. ALSO, I noticed that it was a lot more painful then it usually is for a Brazilian wax, due to her pulling the wrong direction for the hairs (waxers are suppose to pull the opposite direction of the hair growth as this helps to pull out the hair and not simply break off the hair). When I got home I found several tiny hairs that were missed which I plucked myself. Within a few days I had several patches of hair growing back. It hasn't even been a week since my appointment, and it looks like I got a bikini wax instead of a Brazilian due to the waxer pulling the WRONG DIRECTION for the hair. Very...

I have been to many waxing salons in Utah but the BEST by far is Wax Me Too! I've been to the Wax Me Too chain in several cities including St. George and no matter which location or waxer I've had, the service has been fantastic. They are very consistent in so many things. The waxer pays attention to detail and gets ALL the hair, and I mean all the hair gone when it comes to the bikini area! And, unlike other salons, Wax Me Too is always clean. (I've been to other waxing companies and the beds are disgusting, like you can see traces of the person who was there before you). At Wax Me Too you get a clean room, a clean bed, privacy to undress and redress, a towel to cover up with so you don't feel so exposed...AND you are in and out of there in less than a half hour. I’ve had really horrible waxing experiences but Tiffany has been my established and go-to waxing artist for almost a year. This almost never happens and I feel I got incredibly lucky working with Tiffany. The atmosphere at the salon is refreshing and inviting, making it the perfect spot for a little self care session with my trusting advisor.
