Adjustable bed - split king purchase
Pros: They are cheaper (that's all)
Cons: No warranties -We got what's on display after specifically asking if we'll get brand new ones (the sales man Race said yes) -Radio advertised them and said that if we went in that weekend and purchased something we'd get an additional 10% off, when we told this to Race he laughed at our face and said no -The ghost bed adjustable split king package is ONLY $500 more (we've had a ghost bed prior to this purchase, best mattress we've ever owned, and they have a warranty AND wont send you a used bed) -they are sneaky, their delivery is cheap, which at the time we thought it was great... However here is the problem, about 3 weeks later we got a bedroom set (thankfully we were smart to not get it from this place, knights in Lehi is having a great sale go check them out) to our surprise, when we moved the mattress from the base, the bottom of the mattrass was all ripped/torn up and the sides were as if a wild animal had scratched it all up -We never got a manual or instructions -Nothing came wrapped up in plastic or anything (hence, not brand new) -Delivery was 5 hrs late -Delivery guys left a mess on my hardwood floors from their dirty shoes -Delivery guys did not untagle all the wires at the bottom, we went to test the bed after they left we started moving the head up and heard a snap, we looked down and one of the cords had broken (thankfully it was just the cord for the USB, which still sucks because we paid big money for this, but what do you do at this point)
-here is the best one!!! Once it was delivered Tom the owner called me to tell me that one side of the bed was not working due to the remote not having a back to it. Uhh ok... He promised that in exactly a week we'd have a new remote and everything would work perfect. LONG story short, a month later... No remote, pretty disappointed with this company, this is NOT how you should run a business.
Sometimes the "savings" just isnt worth it, go to a place where they wont lie to you, where you have a warranty. And where you will get something brand new. Guys this was Only a $500 savings, totally NOT worth all the headache we've had to go through.
Ps about 3 weeks later, when it became pretty obvious Tom wasnt going to provide us a new remote, my husband contacted the manufacture they were extremely nice and knew exactly what we needed to do with our remote in order to make it work (shows you how much this business sucks, if they knew what they were selling they would have known that it was a simple easy child lock feature on the remote that was making it NOT work and not the fact that there was no back to the remote) once again if we would have gotten a manual we would have easily known how to fix this problem. Do me a favor Tom, train your guys on the furniture you sell, so you guys don't look stupid when its an easy fix. Imagine if your sales guy came in, unlocked the remote and that would have been the end of that, I still would never go back to you because of the other things, but this is the biggest problem of them all, and it could have been avoided.

We purchased a full bedroom from Race the store manager who was seemingly geniue and knowledgable especially in his awareness of how much ASHLEY furniture overcharged. Thier said arrival date came and went with no call. When i reached out i was told it was on back order amd would be another week... Date again came and went no call. I reached out again and was told it was pushed out another week and a half. When i asked why we were not notified Race quickly respond " we have a 100 customers we don't keep track of everyone's order. " I should add in rude tone. Today we are at the 4th said delivery date and still waiting for a response from Tom whom we reached out to two days ago regarding our month long frustration . Once midday hit today I called again as I had heard nothing. After holding for 15 minuets and being told by Race He didn't sell me our set ( i had to remind him he did and had been dealing with me the last month in store and by phone) he shared our furniture would not be in by 21 July . We are a Military family and have had to buy furniture in many differant stores and states!!!! This has truly been the MOST frustrating purchase and customer service experience i have ever had Not one single call from them in this whole month! My poor Daughter she gave old set away to a family in need close to the first delivery date and has been couching it ! NOW we start all over...SO DISAPPOINTED I even walked...
Read moreWe went in there with high hopes for the closing sale, me and my girlfriend found some good chairs that had no marked price, we asked an associate alex for help, and he was great, he got us help and told us the chairs were not in their system but that his manager could help us happily, and at first he did. The Manager told us that the price of the chairs were 90 bucks per chair and my girlfriend said she wasn't interested, so we went to leave, but then the Manager asked us what price we would pay for the chairs. My girlfriend did low ball and responded honestly that she would've been willing to pay 40 for the two chairs, but she knows that's low. That was when the Manager switched his attitude and said "no thanks, goodbye", before getting mad at his associate who apologized and tried negotiating with us for a better price. At this point we want to leave but the Manager is trying to get us to buy it, saying "i bought them for 55 bucks so 55 is the lowest I will go, i want to make my money back" and I understand that, but these chairs were floor models with scratches on them, so we just kept trying to leave while he kept giving us attitude like we didnt understand why he didnt want to sell them for less.
