Barnes & Noble: A Book and Vinyl Lover’s Dream
I recently visited Barnes & Noble, and my experience was nothing short of fantastic. As someone who adores both books and vinyl records, I was thrilled to discover that Barnes & Noble excels in both areas.
Inviting Atmosphere: From the moment I walked in, the store felt warm and welcoming. The lighting was perfect, creating a cozy yet spacious environment that made browsing a joy. The layout was intuitive, making it easy to navigate through the various sections.
Impressive Vinyl Selection: What truly set this visit apart was the incredible vinyl selection. Barnes & Noble offers an extensive range of vinyl records, from classic rock and jazz to contemporary pop and indie releases. The records are well-organized and easy to browse through, with helpful labels and categories. I found several rare and exclusive editions that I hadn’t seen anywhere else, making it a paradise for any vinyl enthusiast.
Wide Variety of Books: Of course, the book selection at Barnes & Noble is top-notch. Whether you’re into fiction, non-fiction, young adult, or children’s books, there’s something for everyone. I was particularly impressed with their well-curated sections, including a fantastic array of graphic novels and classic literature.
Knowledgeable and Friendly Staff: The staff at Barnes & Noble were incredibly helpful and approachable. They assisted me in finding specific titles and even recommended some great reads based on my interests. Their enthusiasm for both books and music was evident and greatly enhanced my shopping experience.
Extra Perks: Beyond books and vinyl, Barnes & Noble offers a variety of other items such as journals, gifts, and educational toys. The in-store café is a perfect spot to sit down with a cup of coffee and enjoy a new book or listen to your latest vinyl purchase. The café’s selection of beverages and snacks was delightful and reasonably priced.
Community Events: Barnes & Noble frequently hosts events such as book signings, readings, and even vinyl listening parties. These events foster a sense of community and provide unique opportunities to engage with authors, musicians, and fellow...
Read moreHad a horrible experience taking my family to this location It all started when I was able to find a female employee working the center of the store I was with my 13 year old son at the moment I flagged her down she kept walking as I spoke to her and seemed upset for some reason. I shook it off and asked her where the music section was ? She responded rudely and went about her way. I’ve been an entrepreneur in retail business for 20 + years this is not how to treat a customer looking for books on music. She proceeded to look at my family mean when we encountered her The final straw was when I noticed her looking at my son up and down and at his bag which contained his purchases he had to buy his book and collectibles ahead so his little brother won’t throw a fit and want what he was taking too. So she thought my son made some purchases and was back in the store stealing it’s sad I live in this community
I asked my son to give me his bag when she was looking at us….right next to us I said give it to me so I can tie it closed that’s how uncomfortable she made us!!! I know she heard me To be racially profiled in the Ingram area is just out of this world I kept thinking why us ??????Was it because my son was sunburned from being a golf player ? I just don’t know anymore
We are Mexican American we work hard for our money and never steal that is not how I raised my children unfortunately they learned about racism thanks to Barnes and noble
I tried calling when I left so I wouldn’t raise my voice there or cause a scene but they said the manager was there I Had a feeling she was the manager which is the sad part so who do you complain to ? “Carrie” ?Just bottle...
Read moreFor someone who loves spending time in book stores, I hate this location. The employees are all rude, and treat you as though you're in their way. The last three times I've gone, it's been the same thing each time. The most recent visit (and, barring desperation, my last), I arrived about 15 minutes to 9. I walked in the door, and one lady immediately came up and said "Ma'am, we're closing soon. You need to hurry." Now, I generally go to another Barnes and Noble, which closes at 10, and had wrongfully assumed it was the same at this location. I explained this to the lady, apologized, and told her I just needed to grab a new day planner, and I knew where it was, so it should be quick. By the time I was actually able to get BACK to the correct row, I had between 5 and 10 minutes left to shop. A few minutes to, another lady came up, said "Ma'am, we're closed. You need to put down your items and leave."
I looked at her in shock. She looked at me in indifference. I told her I just needed to buy an agenda... which was in my hand. She told me I couldn't, and I had to leave. So I put it down and left. I check my phone when I was back in my car, and it was BARELY 9pm. The service was awful, and they were definitely more interested in going home early than in staying open the full hours and making a few more sales. I hope I never have to go back to...
