Went into Mega Furniture at Ingram after visiting other furniture places so get an estimate as to how much furniture was going for. I was greeted my Tommy and I stated that I was just pricing furniture for my daughter but she hadn't even applied for an apt. yet. He stated they were offering 3 yrs no interest and that he would work on getting me free delivery. He asked how I was going to pay for it either cash or credit. I answered it all depends on how much it is and once again reiterated I was just pricing. He asked me if I wanted to see if I qualified for credit. I figured it can't hurt this way if I do decide to go with this company I'll know I qualified. He finally got me an itemized list of the furniture which was $6005. I noticed that he had added delivery to the charge and stated that synchrony only offers 1 year no interest. Never did he ask if I wanted to charge it but later found out the ran the card with out my concent ( this is fraud)..remember my daughter hasn't even applied to the apt. I thought well I'm definitely not going with these people bc they already lied about what they could do for me. I said there's no way I can afford $500 dollars a month..I'm a senior citizen and only rely on SS.. I asked Tommy what happens if my daughter doesn't get the apt. He said no problem just call to cancel. After Tommy said we could cancel they asked me to go to the from ( cashier) and sign some papers..I asked "I'm not signing that I purchased anything right" , both Tommy and cashers stated no. I signed the papers under false pretence. I called to cancel with Tommy 11/2 days later and he mumbled something real fast and hung up on me. The receptionist stated that only Fernando the manager was the only one who could cancel. We kept trying to reach Fernando but they stated he was not in the office. My grandson did speak with Fernando who stated that he would dismiss the ticket but that it was gonna take a while. I trusted these people and am counting on the word of man from Fernando to do what is right and delete this ticket and fraudulent charge. Five legs in the middle none on the end and the wrong pieces on the bottom and top. Surprised nobody's falling through the bed yet. I don't even assemble these or know anything about it and I know what to do just from the picture. Kept trying to tell them to do it the right way but they didn't want me involved. Well I'm involved now.
Then I don't think that they scratched it but maybe it was in the box that way but there's a nice big whisk mark from a box or something on the top of our dresser. Could see it clear as day coming through the front door. Luckily the house is a little dim and you can't see it.
Then the sofas we bought like $3,000 worth of garbage when you use the recliners they scream like an animal dying underneath the chair. What a bunch of garbage. And then I found one of the clips for the power on the floor. Yeah I think that's supposed to be attached to hold the clip together so I'm sure eventually the power is not going to work and I'm going to have to go looking around trying to figure out where it is the connection that is loose. These look like the same junk we bought for Mor Furniture in California and they were nothing but garbage too.
So the tech was supposed to come out Friday want it all these explanations and pictures and everything else and he says he could be out friday. I'm engaging with him on what we need to do to do the repair maybe try to buff it out and describing the sofa maybe some lithium grease and then the guy doesn't show in like 5 days later oh we can be out there on Friday 7 days later now. I'm like what the hell. Okay I'll dispute this garbage on my credit card. Well you never expressly confirmed. Whatever just playing games.
Another company ripping people off and then playing games. I would not buy my furniture here ever again I recommend you...

Two years ago, I had a very good experience after shopping around for weeks for new furniture that I, unfortunately, didn't take the same amount of time this purchase. Sadly, everything I purchased was cheaper elsewhere after a ten minute online search I did a few nights when trying to find out delivery information. Not by a slim amount either. I could have saved over 1100$ on the six items I purchased if I had done some research. Additionally, their customer service lines are no longer answered which may indicate a huge dive in their ability to function as a company. I've called the last three days for customer service or to speak to their delivery associates to find out when all of my furniture is expected to be delivered and it just rings and tells me nobody is available.
I'd recommend you shop around San Antonio before buying anything from these stores. Take pictures of things you like and use Google lens to find the furniture at other stores to confirm it's a competitive price. NEVER BUY from here without doing your competitive research!
(Update) I found out today, two weeks after I ordered the furniture, half of my order has been discontinued and nobody ever called to inform me. Additionally, I am responsible for going back to the store to attempt to receive reimbursement but they may only be able to give me store credit.
