I’ve been coming to this place for a few months now. Sometimes I come every Friday. I loved it here. But today I went and order my usual pho rare steak and an order of fresh rolls. as I’m eating my bowl I bite into something hard. I take it out of my mouth and it looks like those teeth flossers that have the bristles. I tell the young girl and she takes the bowl. And tells me that their cooks don’t use those. That they use the wooden ones that they have at the register. I’m grossed out at this point and they tell me I don’t need to pay. They wanted to replace my bowl but I didn’t have the appetite for it. I left the restaurant and one of the staff came and knocked in my window to apologize and he also stated that his cooks don’t use those. Which someone could have brought it from their house. Very dissatisfied and feel like throwing up Response to your comment: There is no justification for that. You say you don’t use those but any of your employees could have brought one from their home. It is disgusting that I put that in my mouth knowing it was in someone else’s mouth. I understand your apology. I also did not appreciate being followed to my car twice to justify. Just accept the bad review because this was a bad experience. The photo uploaded was the same exact type of floss that was in my pho.

I enjoyed this restaurant, but I wish I could give a 4.5 rating instead of4. 5 stars for me is incredible tastes, reasonable price, and large size portions. Although this place had all of those, the meat and stake pho was very lacking on the protein. There were very few pieces, as you can see in the picture, and the pieces were very thin. There was tons of broth and noddles, both of which were amazing, but I wish there was a better protein portion. On the other hand the veggie and tofu pho was full of protein and veggies. Perhaps I just got a particularly small portion, so I will give benefit of the doubt, but I was disappointed. The spring rolls were delicious tho, and the peanut sauce was amazing! Overall, okay pho restaurant. The portions are pretty large but the flavor is nothing special. The lack of meat was disappointing, but if that’s changed I think it would be a pretty good spot.

Tried this quaint Pho spot today for a quick lunch. I ended up getting the medium pho with beef and fatty brisket in spicy beef broth. I really liked that the veggie toppings (which included bean sprouts, lime, spinach and jalapenos) were separated onto their own plate, allowing you to customize how much of each you want to put in your bowl. I also got the pork and shrimp spring rolls, forgetting I was at a Vietnamese restaurant for a moment, and boy was I surprised when they came to the table. Chocked full of lettuce, carrots, noodles, and meat in a soft rice wrapper these spring rolls are authentically Vietnamese and come with a peanut sauce on the side. Their egg rolls are the traditional fried wrappings you find in most other restaurants. Service was polite and fast. We were seated, fed, and out the door in 35 minutes. If I had to do it over again, I'd order the large instead.

Save yourself, I honestly don't know why I walked in. I thought the place was closed down from how it looked on the outside. I think they use cardboard to block out sunlight from coming in the windows. Inside its like any other family owned restaurant so I thought hell why not. Little background, I lived a year in South Korea and have had my fair share of PHO there. Meanwhile in Texas, I ordered the #1 which is a steak strip PHO soup and Vietnamese egg roll. Came out in a very large portion which was the one plus to this meal. Besides that the sides they gave me were old like you could see rotting on them like a brownish color when it should be normal lemongrass color for PHO. So the best part was the steak they had in my soup wasn't even cooked, it was still red. We're talking about the same type of steak they use when your making a Philly cheese steak sandwich. Imagine just eating those steak strips raw.... yummy. It actually finished cooking in my soup... It smelled. I tried it but I couldn't keep eating, it wasn't good and I kept psyching myself out. I didn't even try the water it looked cloudy. They have potential, I think if the ingredients were fresh for me and the steak fully cooked and change the decor in the windows at least I could see bumping it up.

The best PHO I ever had is in a little vitenamese restaurant in South Korea right outside Osan AB, Spoiled i was.

*update! I have had diarrhea for 2 days now since eating at this...

*As you can see below, the owner is now accusing me of racism for giving a bad review. So maybe some details will show him how foolish he is. Expensive, I spent $125 for 5 people. I don't mind paying for good food, but this was not good food. Low quality ingredients, cheap iceberg lettuce in every plate, when everyone who has ever eaten Vietnamese food knows that you should use greenleaf. Gristle in the meat, all the meat dishes, pork, beef and chicken had chewy pieces of inedible gristle. Only about half of the pork was edible. Greasy, the fried egg rolls came out swimming on a plate of stale oil. Poor service, one waitress with bad manners hurriedly serving all the tables without assistance. 4% surcharge for paying with a credit card. This is illegal. You can give a discount if a customer pays with cash, but you cannot charge more for using a credit card.

As for my language, I see nothing offensive in my original post.

Maybe instead of spending so much time responding to your online reviews, you should visit the table and ask what you could do better to gain repeat business.

Here is my original post:

Expensive, low quality ingredients, gristle in the meat, greasy, poor service, and to add insult to injury, 4% surcharge if you pay with a credit card. ...
