I now only go to the James Avery near Goliad because GABBY that works at south park mall james avery is very rude!!!! I go in every 2 weeks to add to my bracelet and she helped me these last 2 times first time I bought 3 charms and I asked for my bags Gabby said we don't recommend that you store your jewelry in those bag I stated yes I know I do however save all my bags . Gabby said ya people are reselling bags i said oh really ya thats dumb she stated yes it is because they are free here and only gave me 1 bag with 3 boxes of my purchased items . Thats fine. Following 2 weeks I go to transfer all my texas charms to my Texas bracelet and also to replace 3 beads. She informed me I would have to replace all 3 for half price. I said oh ok so they cant fix them she said so ya these are 1 piece charm and so ya like I said they have to be replace. Anything else? I was going to say something back but she seemed to be having a bad day. Maybe i should have because my sis also went the same day to make her bracelet smaller and Gabby got upset because my sis was taking her time thinking of how many links to remove. On 1-4-2025, I was in line to make a purchase when Alura called, “Next in line.” Since the customer in front of me was already being attended to by another associate, I approached her register. However, when I did, Alura remarked, “You weren’t next, the other girl was in front of you, but I’ll help you out.”
I was a bit taken aback by the comment, as I was simply following the typical flow of the line—waiting for the customer ahead of me to be helped before stepping forward when invited. While Alura did proceed to assist me, her comment felt unnecessary and somewhat dismissive. It seemed like she misunderstood the situation, and the tone of her remark detracted from the positive experience I had hoped for.
I understand that misunderstandings can happen, but I wanted to bring this to your attention because it didn’t align with the level of customer service I expect from your store. Read moreThis review is long overdue. I'd like to recognize Santa. Long story short my daughter and I went in shopping for a Chain, my daughter suffers from social anxiety so this was her first time out and actually talking and handling her own transaction. This wouldn't have been possible without Santa's help, patients, and input of opinions. She let my daughter try on 2 different lengths in chain over and over as she walked over to the mirror to see what fit she liked better. I did keep apologizing over and over for the inconvenience, however Santa keep reassuring to me that it wasn't a problem at all "this is what we are here for, to make sure you are satisfied with your purchase". Santa never showed signs of frustration we didn't feel like we were being rushed and shared nothing but smiles and laughs with us. We are so thankful for the time effort and patience that went into our experience. My daughter showed so much emotions of excitement in the vehicle as we were leaving.
