We had an amazing experience here at Genesis of San Bruno and would definitely recommend to anyone in the market for a luxury vehicle to come check this out before you make any other buying decisions. We had a pretty awful experience with the Genesis of Richmond in late 2021 and we almost left the Hyundai/Genesis brand altogether, lots of misinformation and inventory unfamiliarity, we were told there was a $10k minimum markup on all vehicles at the time, non-negotiable, costco pricing would not be honored, they also weren't willing to honor the service valet or concierge services to SF and even when we wanted to sit down and talk numbers we were abandoned at a desk for almost an hour while our rep started trying to sell to another set of customers, so we decided to just hold off and started considering Lexus, Volvo, Audi, but eventually took a break from the hunt. We started our search again a few months ago and were surprised to find out that Genesis had opened a dealership closer to us in San Bruno! We decided to give the brand another chance and we are so happy we did. The facility is still pretty new, they've taken over a large section in the Tanforan mall, but it's sort of a temporary facility until they've finished building the new dealership they have under construction across the street. It's rather impressive how quickly they've transformed the space from an empty department store into a showroom of this caliber, I rather enjoyed the indoor car shopping experience myself. I've seen another Genesis dealership like this inside a mall in Hudson Yards in NYC and I enjoyed the experience. We worked with Shilpa and Fady to look at some GV70's and even an Electrified GV70 (which we hadn't even realized were out yet) Apparently because they were such a new dealership they got a large fleet of vehicles to work with and were one of the few in California to have as many Electrified GV70's in their inventory, we were so glad they did, because we fell in love with the electrified model instantly and scooped it up the same day. They made me a great offer on my 2013 Genesis Coupe and its been an amazing experience. I've been in contact with Fady ever since we got ours home to get help with small questions, we had along the way (this being our first EV, there are a lot of questions) but they've been amazing and we cannot thank them enough for being straight up with us and staying late to help us close the deal, great service with an amazing team and I would highly recommend this dealership to get your new...

My experience of purchasing the 2024 Genesis GV70 was overall a great experience. What made the experience overall great was because of how they responded to my concerns when things didn’t go as well as it should have.

With regards to the purchase of the car, it went on pretty smoothly. Raj was very helpful in a lot of ways. He made himself available. He followed through from start to finish and listened to my complaints. He checked up on us a lot of times to see if we had any more concerns. Liz was very funny and took the time to sit down with us to do the financial transaction part.

After the purchase, we were so excited to be able to use the car. However, we ran into problems with the car when we came to pick it up a few days later. It didn’t allow us to drive it over 20mph. We had to take it back to the dealer. Roberto, the manager, explained that it was in transport mode. Since it was closing time and there was no technician available, he offered to have us drive another car while they try to have the technician check if the car is drivable the next day. Because we decided just to take Uber home instead, he offered to reimburse us with the Uber rides and deliver the car to our home which was very convenient. The delivery was late and I did have to call and check to see what was the hold up. They responded quickly and got it delivered right away after the call. Cristal even called back a few days later to see how things are. I had told her of the unfortunate incident with the car on transport mode and that they delivered the car late. She sincerely apologized for the mishap and tried to make it up to me. I had mentioned to her that the car had marks on the exterior when I received the delivery. She offered to get the car detailed again. I also highly appreciate that she went above and beyond for me. She wasn’t supposed to be working on the day that I showed up to get my car detailed but came to see me to make sure everything was good. I brought up my question about the digital key and the fingerprint authentication. She was honest to tell me that she doesn’t know yet but she will get back to me after talking to the technician….Will be waiting to hear from her. For now, I’m loving the car and enjoying the drive.
