Updated review 9/15/2021: The Wednesday special is lobster and steak $21. The wait was about 30mins at 7:30pm. The clam chowder tasted alright. It had little pieces of minced clams and potatoes. It didn't have celery though. The saltine crackers were a bit stale. I would have preferred the little oyster crackers instead. There was a mishap with my main course though. The chef forgot to put bacon, cheddar, green onions on my baked potato. Then the weirdest thing happened. When I told the waitress, she picked up the regular potato (drenched with butter and sour cream) with her bare hands off my plate and put it in the bread basket bringing it back to the kitchen. A few minutes later, she brought back a loaded potato. I really hope it wasn't the same one she grabbed with her bare hands.
Original review: Indoor dining tonight 3/10/2021. There was an half hour wait at 5:30pm. The dining room was a chilly 48° because they left both front doors open. They do not have an outdoor dining area as far as I could tell. Maybe they should put some heat lamps indoors because it was so cold inside. I had to go back to my car to get a jacket. The service however was excellent and the food from the kitchen came out a little slow. It took over 30 mins from when I ordered to when I received my food. The food was as expected for the pasta, scallops, steak and lobster. I really weren't expecting much since this is a chain restaurant. It was kind of weird to get all those little plastic containers for the cheese, onions, bacon bits for the baked potato. My coleslaw was served in a paper container. That can't be good for the environment when they are doing that for indoor dining. The only disappointing part of my meal was the snow crab. It tasted like it came straight from the freezer. Read moreIf I could give zero stars I would. My family and I just recently left this restaurant without even eating. We arrived to the restaurant shortly after 7. We were told it would be a 15 min wait as there were about 5-6 others before us. I have to say it was less than 15 minutes and all of the parties waiting (including us) were brought back pretty much at the same time. As we were getting brought back the hostess told the other staff member to “sit them at _ table and make sure she knows” (I didn’t catch her name) We sat at one table and about 3 minutes later we were asked to switch tables. No big deal. We switched tables and we waited.... we continued to wait... we waited for a total of about 20-25 minutes and no one even took our drink order. Now the problem is, EVERY single table around us was getting waited on, including the couple who was brought back at the same time as us. They were already getting their appetizers and we haven’t even ordered our drinks. I decide to go back up to the hostess and asked if someone could be called to our table. They said they will call someone. I returned to my table... after about 5-10 minutes later, still no one came, so we asked the waiter that was waiting on the tables around us if he knew who was suppose to be waiting on us. He said he would find out. We waited another 5 minutes, no one came. So we asked that same waiter does he know what happened... he stated they didn’t figure it out yet, so he’ll just take our order. Read moreWas told the wait was 20 minutes took 50 minutes and after I had gone up after a 2nd time after waiting 35 min and them telling me that my table was being set up at the moment, and they would ring my pager in a few min they never did so after waiting the whole 50 min I go to fine out that they gave my table to another party and they never rang my pager but yet they had me crossed off the list. And all the girl said was but we sat you already, how the hell you gonna say you sat me when I'm right in front of you with the pager asking when the hell I'm gonna be seated. Idiots! Then they seat us all the way in the back of the restaurant and they got the dame ac blasting on a cold wet night with the temp in the low 50s and you can tell everyone plus my family sitting in that back room were freezing. They had us sitting like we where in a damn meat locker. So I told them if they can turn down the ac so they did for about 20 min and then the started back up again, freaking rediculess! Then they take like a hour to bring us our food, I could have ordered a pizza ate and still not have gotten my food. Then we asked for the bill and a box for the leftover, and they take for ever to bring the bill and forget the box. So we remind her and she leave and take for ever to pickup the bill. When she finally did she still forgot the box by then we figured forget it or we might end up leaving when they close! One of the worst service experience ever! Don't plan on eating there any time soon, unfortunately it's the only Red Lobster close to me so when I do feel like eating there food I'll have to really contemplate hard if I want to return.
