I cannot emphasize how much this spot is worth trying 🐠🍲 P.S. if you enjoy my content, be sure to hit share & follow along at @whatericacraves for more food news in San Diego 🫶 @鱼你在一起海外 - Fish With You has just opened up a location in Convoy and my god is it good. This restaurant is incredibly popular in China for its authentic Chinese Suan Cai fish. If you've never had it before, it is essentially thinly sliced white fish poached in a rich broth flavored with sichuan peppers, ginger, garlic, and the key ingredient: pickled cabbage. I will be transparent in that I have never tried this type of cuisine before and I was a little nervous, however I firmly believe you should never write any type of food off, because you'll never know unless you try it. So, if you're used to staying in your comfort zone, I urge you to try something new because it was INSANELY GOOD 🤤 I'm not kidding, I can't stop thinking about it. Check out everything we ordered below, they were all incredibly delicious and flavorful. P.S. you can absolutely get a small soup. We got a large and it was massive for the two of us. the broth is super flavorful and the fish was light and tender. If you enjoy vinegar/slight spice, you'll love this one. It will also stay VERY hot during your entire meal, so don't be like me and burn your tongue haha. The staff were also super nice, and you just order everything via a QR code at your table. They even import their rice from China! Overall, such a gem of a spot. It does get very busy during main meal times, so prepare for a little bit of a wait. I promise though, it is so worth it. 10/10 meal and I am very excited to come back. This has to be the best Korean restaurant in San Diego and you can find it over in Convoy ✨🍲 . Have you been to @jomaruusa before? If not, be sure to add it to your list. It is one of the most popular restaurants in South Korea with over 220 locations and we’re lucky enough to now have it in San Diego! I am a big fan of Korean cuisine and after seeing its rave reviews online, we had to go check it out. Their menu is very authentic, and their staff does an amazing job guiding you on what to order based on your tastes and preferences. We ordered a little bit of everything so we could really experience the menu, and I have to say, it was all absolutely delicious. Everything was so thoughtfully prepared and it was bursting with flavor. You really get the perfect mixture of salty, sour, and umami here. Check out what we ordered below and the next time you’re craving Korean food, do not skip out on this tasty spot! P.S. I tried to pronounce everything correctly, but if I didn’t, I apologize! I was looking for a Tailor for some uniforms and Convoy Ct has a great one called Anna Tailor Cleaners. They not only handle alterations and general sewing, they also dry clean your clothes! Saves me a second trip. They have done a great job and so far I have had no complaints. :) Convoy Ct has a lot of hidden gems within and you can find some good places to eat. Very berry hard to find empty parking space. Forget about parking space when it is weekend or holiday. Parking space is compact, need to be extra careful. There is tofu house, red moon noodle house, tapioca express, crab hut and other restaurants. So many choices, in case if one restaurant is too busy and you could not...
