Goodwill Retail Store and Donation Center — Attraction in San Diego

I love this goodwill, come here almost everyday, afternoon is always crazy packed. Only paid street parking there is the surrounding neighborhood but the folks barely have street parking themselves.

Everyone always pretty nice and respectful BUT their is this older lady about in her 50’s she’s a pretty active gal and always giving great service to SOME people, not to me or my fiance thooe. At first she was nice (regular) but then she started giving us looks at the register, one time she was giving us attitude for no reason after she was joking around with the client before us giving them that A1 sauce personality when getting our change back she placed our change on the counter closer to her even thooe we had our hand out to receive our change. She stared at us and said “your change 🙄” as we reached over to get our change she grabbed the receipt then placed it between me and my fiancé EVEN THOUGH we BOTH had our hands out. There was 2 other incidents of that attitude she gives us as well, we just kinda hope to not get her and wait and see if another person is working to...

I've been going to this Goodwill for a long time, and some of my favorite pieces have been bought here. Walking in, the selection is very cute and pleasing to the eye. Unfortunately, most of the brands sold here nowadays are Shein and other fast fashion, for around $14 each. Not only are you paying more for used clothes than new ones on the website, the quality of Shein clothes is well below par. In essence, I can hardly find comfortable, cheap clothes at this location anymore. I'd understand finding lots of fast fashion at the Goodwill bins downtown, but to see it all over the racks here is just sad. There's still good finds, of course, but it takes much longer to find anything than before. Enjoy your visit, just be mindful of what you're paying for...
