My 2020 MacBook Pro needed a screen replacement due to some minor damage. I took it in and they managed to complete the replacement within two days, which was great. Would’ve been one if there wasn’t a day off in between. I was assured it was a screen for a Mac and not an off brand which would’ve caused a decrease in brightness, so that made me lean with this company more so. Additionally, after displaying the problem, it was a quick solution and not the runaround of options it could be which I appreciated. Overall, the service was 499$. The quality and screen seem good, and my computer seems to be in full functioning order. Pricier than I would’ve liked to pay but given that the screen is from Mac and the location of the company, I think it is reasonable. Personally, I would’ve preferred the front desk to open the laptop, turn it on and show me that everything in working order. It’s small, but just room for better customer service in my opinion, especially after paying 499$. I would’ve been interested in seeing the screen that was damaged as well and offered to keep it or trash it. Most likely...
Read moreI had a few issues with my gaming rig and took it in to get looked at a few weeks ago. I dropped off my computer acting foolishly like I had no idea what was wrong with it. I needed a little bit more help when it comes to certain things with my custom built rig. I came back the next day thinking they called me in to bring my monitor since my BIOS would not come up? When I brought in the monitor, guy at the front counter said it would be looked at by Monday? I simply repeated myself letting him know that I was picking up my computer and wanted to see what was wrong with it. As soon as I gave him the specs. He mumbled a bit and I could tell he was trying to blow me off at first. Started throwing numbers at me $1,500-$1,900 for a new build that I didn't want? I asked him what type of upgrades would be possible?? Younger guy working in the back on the computers was very nice and knowledgeable when I asked about CPU and motherboards. I walked out of DC Computers more disappointed than when I brought it in. I understand he has a service to provide, but not like that. Needs better...

I’m OSX BSD Linux user for life, but when you have to go Microsoft, this company sold me the official license of Windows 7, with Office!
One of their sales reps is a cat, which is an interesting approach, but highly effective when you are having the melt down from a catastrophic data loss & your life may very well literally be on the line.
Or at least your professional career.
I will likely write to Google to see about changing the 5 star maximum to give this organization 6. Actually, I probably...
