Michaels — Attraction in San Diego

Sep11 2021: Google Maps won't allow a zero of five rating, I called ahead to pick up framing which is very expensive and went out of my way to go to the store, was told that framing department the person leaves between 7:00 and 7:30 p.m., I asked if I could give my name to say that I was coming in for a pickup, was told to just come in even though the store is open until about 9:00 p.m., arrived 7:10 p.m. and was told the framing person had gone home at 7:00 and that I was not permitted to pick up my framing. Zero of five stars! I hope he manager sees this and will contact me. I spoke to a manager who was very defensive about not being able to sign out framing materials and have me pick it up, but my point was that I should have been told a hard time to arrive by for pickup,...

This place is brand new. Its got more items then I bet you could look at in a week. Posted a bunch of pics. Just look there are countless options and color selections. The folks working there were actually polite and helpful. Last visit to a Michael's (OCEANSIDE STORE OFF VISTA WAY) thought I was going to have the manager try and put his hands on me. Messy unorganized. Now this store there is no comparison. Same over priced item typical of the chain, but least I had choices to be overcharged on. And my phone coupons actually worked. Gotta give Michael's a thank you your definitely improving. I think I took a bit to many pictures but hey now you can walk the shelf with confidence....

Usually my trips to Michael's are pretty standard but last Friday was frantic. I needed a very specific item and got there less than 1 minute before they closed. The lady could've turned me away and I was prepared for it but after explaining that I only needed 1 item, she let me in. I grabbed the item and was back to the check out in about a minute with the help of another friendly lady. Neither lady rushed me and they even gave me the credit card spiel when I checked out 😅.
