Our Lady of Angels Church — Attraction in San Diego

In my ongoing journey to experience all the Catholic churches in San Diego County, Our Lady of Angels stole the show. Ample, well-lit parking made the arrival stress-free, and the wide doorways and readily available ramps ensured everyone felt welcome. But it was the heart of the church that truly impressed me. The warm sunlight cascading through stained glass windows illuminated a serene sanctuary, and the air buzzed with a gentle hum of quiet prayers. Father's homily wasn't just informative, it was a tapestry woven with personal anecdotes and profound wisdom that resonated deep within me. The church is a beautiful building. I was visiting this pasted weekend from Chicago for a Quinceanera, I was so disappointed in Father/Pastors behavior during the service/mass, As a Christian person I totally understand the house of God there should be reverence and yes educate the young people during mass not take out your frustration in the alter and slam the flower to the virgin Mary, and not greet your people after service. As Christian we want to invite people to the house of God. I know God was not honor that day. I hope the leader reflects on his actions. Just voicing my opinion...

What a horrible experience i had @ this church. The people I met outside of church looked so approachable from a distance until they told me to leave just in my time of need as I was begging for help as some men in a van were following me. The man and women near him told me " there is no help for you here. Go to the jack n the box find help there. Evil godless non fearing catholics.
