The apt was super cute, extremely clean, and a really comfortable space. While in the apt and on the grounds, you feel completely safe. Just do your research on the downtown homeless situation in San Diego prior to visiting. Depending on what your activities are during the day or evening in the downtown area, you may opt out of staying in the heart of the city. Otherwise, it's a great location in terms of getting to the Zoo, Balboa Park, Little Italy, the Harbor, and good shopping. There are also a ton of amazing restaurants close by which saved us a ton of time not having to find places to grab coffee, breakfast, or ordering dinner to pick up. We had an issue with the water pressure being low the first night and the dryer making a loud noise but Kasa's customer service is a 5-star experience! They responded immediately and resolved the issues promptly. I reached out with other questions about the apt and grounds and I was so impressed by the service. It made all the difference! You can tell they want their guests to have the best experience possible....
Read moreHusband and I stayed in 1 king bedroom apartment with a pullout couch (did not use it). Very, very clean and spacious. Full Kitchen, spacious living room a small dining table, big bathroom, walk-in closet, linen closet and washer/dryer. Easy contactless check-in/out. Building has good amenities that are accessible for your stay (pool, gym, outdoor bbq area, rooftop area etc). Building is secure, you need codes to get into the building from the street, to use the elevators and provided access for parking garage. The neighborhood is safe and clean. The street might be a bit noisy at night, due to traffic, emergency vehicles, but Kasa provides ear plugs if you need them. The building is centrally located, within walking distance to Gaslamp or short drives to: Little Italy, Convention Center, Petco Park, Old Town etc. The apartment works for couples, 4 people, but could be very comfortable for work/long stays. I highly recommend staying here and will stay here upon my return...
Read moreI stayed here for two weeks and worked from home living here. It was such a great experience! The room was nice and clean and the check in/out process was super easy. The place was stocked with linens, kitchen supplies, etc and it really felt like my own apartment while I was here! I will definitely be looking into Kasa for any other trips I plan to take!
The only complaint is the area it was in was close to areas of homelessness so being a young girl staying here alone you had to be careful. However, being from NYC it was nothing compared to that and it was really close to a lot of areas and walkable which was...
