Papi’s Teppanyaki — Attraction in San Diego

We had Papi’s cater our wedding, which was a little over 120 guest. They were so easy to work with! Communication was great and they were set up early and on time. The guest absolutely raved over their service and food. It was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding and highly recommended Papi’s to all our relatives and friends. They even supplied us with a little extra on the side so that we can enjoy the food after it was all done. We were and are still so grateful for them! Food is always a 10/10 you can tell they really care for their customers. If you’re looking for a fun and fulfilling catering experience- please look no further. I mean isn’t so cool to say you had hibachi for your event?! All our guest said they had more than enough to eat and that it was a great idea because they never had hibachi at a wedding before. I loved the steak plate. Good food for decent price. The only thing I would do is ask for more veggies... Large portion of rice and good portions of steak .I also had the chicken plate. A LOT of chicken. For 18.00 you can make 2 meals. Again just would ask for a few more veggies. Update I been twice recently and not even enough for one dinner. Quality went down, price went up. Food used to be 2 meals for $20, now they hiked it up to $18-$20 per meal AND decreased portion size. Not to mention, chicken was dry AF and the rice was so buttery it didn’t taste like fried rice at all, very different food and taste from its earlier days. Way too rich and had to pass on my food . Puzzling to see the decline in quality and value of this business that I thought was seeing success and...
