I've been coming to this salon since it opened years ago and today received the worst service from the front desk lady who said her name was Twee. I arrived 10 minutes early and checked in for my appointment and waited as all the chairs were full.
My appointment time came and went and I was told it would only be a few more minutes, at the time I was the only person waiting. Another group came in after I did and when a chair opened up the lady told me to move where I was waiting and go wait for another chair in the back of the salon.
I asked why I was not being given the first one that opened up as I had been waiting and had already had an appointment for which they were late for. She told me she was saving that chair for the other ladies as they wanted to sit together. At the time all the chairs surrounding the open one were filled with other guests who where nowhere close to being done. I let her know that they were already running late for my appointment and could not wait for another chair where the girl had not even begun to paint the current occupants nails. Twee was incredibly rude and said I would have to wait as she wanted to save the chair for the other ladies. She did absolutely nothing to try and remedy the situation a d acted completely unprofessional. I could understand if she had asked if I minded waiting a bit longer but I clearly told her I had another engagement and they were already running late. The other ladies came in well after me and I had an appointment. That coupled with her making me move from the seat I was waiting in, after years of patronage I will not come back here. I recommend others to avoid...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI came for a pedicure and cuticle trim/clean up and was talked into doing a manicure instead as the price would be similar. That was no big deal at all. An employee sat next to me as Iām reading a book during my pedicure, placed a pillow on my lap and begin grabbing my hands away from my book without saying a word or giving me a chance to put it away. Again, no big deal just kind of inconsiderate. The āmanicureā was the problem. I attached pictures of the final product after returning to my car. There was still polish on my cuticles, dirt under my nails and she did not file or shape my nails before standing up and saying āthank youā after less than 10 minutes. At which time I asked if she was going to file them and showed her the oval shape I would like. I also asked if she can make them look cleaner and pointed out the polish and dirt. She again said āthank youā and stood up after brushing them with acetone and filing maybe 5 of my nails. I then asked politely if I can just do it myself since I usually do anyway so she gave me the file and I shaped them up myself. I paid in full and left a tip, even after hearing them talk about me in their native language as the only word I understood was āovalā and then was rushed out by what I assumed was the manager. I was very passive and kind throughout this experience and it was just oddly unpleasant. I wish I spoke up at the time so I write this to encourage others to speak up and be assertive. Standing up for yourself with kindness does not mean being passive. Do not leave an establishment until you are satisfied with the service provided. Or just avoid this spot....
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI normally do not take the time to write reviews, however this experience changed that for me. I had asked for the āRed Carpet Me Timeā package, and the person who assisted me seemed very put off by this. When I got to the pedicure chair, both the manicurist and pedicurist, repeatedly commented on how my nails were so short, and kept looking at my toes and telling me not to cut them myself next time. I was told this at least 4 timesā¦. I can understand a language barrier as well, and thatās not an issue, but when you make hardly any attempt to talk to the person you are working on, and continue to talk in whispers with a colleague and look down at the customers feet and and nails giggling, it is a bit uncomfortable. My manicurist was a bit nicer, however the lady who did my pedicure made a lot of rude facial expressions, especially after my callus removal. I felt very self conscious. The only reason I am leaving 2 stars, instead of 1, is because they did a good job on the painting/actual treatment. Big lack in customer service. Not sure I will be back, I certainly do not wish to pay a heavy price to...
