Southcrest Recreation Center — Attraction in San Diego

We went to the 2024 Easter hunt. As I was in line for face painting my 4 yr old son went with his big sister to get a free juice from the icebox. Next to the ice box was this BIG black lady that works there. She told my son “Didn’t you already get one?!!” My son said no and walked away with the juice then she screamed “ Where are u going !?! Put it back” then they both came running to me to tell me. He was holding back his tears he was sad and scared. The event ended hours ago and my son is still sad. This $&@“$& lady. I’m calling tomorrow to talk to someone incharge. She ALWAYS has an attitude. She ALWAYS rolls her eyes when asked a question. All her coworkers are so welcoming and nice except her. Like sheesh if you don’t like your job you know what to do. If you wanna be rude to a child make sure the parent is there! Since Ralph passed the park has been dirty. He kept it looking nice as it should. Staff is still great as they always are. Been coming here for a long time. Almost had the 15 freeway take all this nice park away once ago . New grounds keepers dont really put the effort into the park like Ralph did. Its still a nice park with history just come when soccer season is over cause they make the most mess and urinate where they shouldnt. Rest easy...
