Great Wall Express — Restaurant in San Diego

We used to come here all the time but stopped because we moved but today we went in and the place was a mess and the food was off.

Customer service need some serious improvement. We asked if we could have just one side instead of two and an entree, however, lady become upset when we changed our mind and decided to get the larger meal even though she hadn't even gotten the plate or served any food.

After we received our food, we agreed that the taste was off. The food is just not good anymore. The rice tasted as if it was a couple days old. The orange chicken was pure grease, the chicken was not there.

The area we ate at was distrusting, a complete mess. There was food and dirty napkins all over the floor. The tables and chair were a mess.

Poor workers were yelled at at least 4 times in the 10 minutes we were there. The lady at front really need to let go of all that anger she has making her bitter towards her customers and employees. Perhaps that explains why the food has decreased in tastiness.

We now this isn't a 5 star restaurant but seriously this place isn't what it used to be. Yes, it's cheap but at what cost? I seriously don't believe the their "A" food grade...

Went to this Chinese place for food last night and I was not impressed to say the least. On the 2 and 3 item combos, they are really only a 1 item or 2 item combo because the lo mein and fried rice (which is considered a side at any other place) is considered an entree at this place. On top of that, the food was gross. The teriyaki chicken was not cut up like traditional teriyaki chicken but rather huge pieces of chicken smothered in teriyaki sauce. The orange chicken was hard and crusty and did not have a good flavor at all. The bbq pork was extremely bony and full of fat. The quality of the food isn't what it used to be. We went in on a Saturday afternoon and nothing was ready. We wanted orange chicken and had to wait for it to be made. There was another guy there who waited 20 minutes for his food and still waited after we left. The selection of ready to go food is minimal. I'm talking rice or chowmain, then 3 chicken selections, beef and broccoli and 1 vegetable option. They had no egg rolls or anything else out. The food taste ok.
