I want to copy/paste this playground into my neighborhood. It’s SO lovely. The playgrounds has all levels of play to challenge from 0-6. Surface is rubber, and forgiving on feet. It’s large, has sun shades and ADA equipment. My son is 4 and was able to challenge himself climbing, swinging, spinning and sliding all over the playground. It’s zoned nicely, which gives parents and kids plenty of room to play. We visited on a Friday, so I’m not sure if it gets more crowded on weekdays. May also be worth mentioning the view of the bay, the adjacency of other nearby playgrounds and grass and the ocean breeze also added to this lovely end of the park (If you’re local, you probably already know all of that!). We had a lot of fun watching the...

This is San Diego for the locals and not the tourist. I’m not saying tourist are not welcome but this is filled with locals almost every sunny day and it’s a lot of sunny days in SD. Multiple kickback days at this park. You’ll see youth and teens chilling not being bothered and that’s beautiful! It’s generally clean and much cleaner than most places unfortunately. But hey is what it is. You can do hecca water sport in this area as well. I’ve seen some amazing stuff just sitting back enjoy the constant good breeze. Speaking of breeze the pop up kite shows are always nice. It’s so many little sections it takes a while to learn the entire park. So have fun. Bring a good blanket and get ready to buy...

The best. My kids said "I loved it". They have swings, very large playground areas with mirror levels. Lots of musical items in the playground. They have lay-down swings. Best of all, they have a zip line. One with a seat and another with a rope. Kids were lining up to take turns. They have multiple spin areas. Telescopes on playground and you can see fiesta Island. Plenty of tables for large parties/picnics. Trees are nearby to provide shade for those not on the playground. Always a great spot, next to the bay and green grass. What else can you ask for. It's the gem...

Decided to stop by while heading back to Orange County this past Sunday evening. Parking wasn't bad, I was able to find a spot right away. There was a decent amount of people chilling on the grass enjoying the scenery and others running on the path. Definitely a good place to relax before getting back on the road.

One of the great place to have get together for UpTo 100 people or having kids birthday party, or just go n spend weekend near calm pacific mission bay waters. Perfect place for bringing your own boat or jet ski and enjoy yourself 😉 weekend nights are also full here with people doing camp fire 🔥 😀
