I've been going to this dog park for many years. They remodeled the dog area and it's great. They have two areas that are fenced. One is for small dogs and the other for bigger dogs. Instead of using grass that eventually gets fox tails growing and can hurt your pet they used sand. It's easier to keep clean and it doesn't harm the dogs paws when they run. It's a big enough area for the dogs to run and play together. Even the small dog area is a good size. Everyone is polite and will stop a dog fight if one happens. The dogs are well behaved for the most part. There is water and bowls for them to drink. I like the people who go there as well. They are friendly and polite. My dogs had a good time. They have a cement path that goes to the far end of the dog area for those who may have a hard time walking in sand and benches to sit for anyone who needs to. There are entrances in the front and back and one that is in the middle on side that connects both small and large dog areas. The dogs have a good time playing and it's relaxing for humans as well. I recommend this place for people with dogs that get along well with many other dogs. It's usually busy and parking can be a challenge. There is parking farther up as long as you don't mind walking a bit. It's beautiful area next to...

I’m not recommending this dog park. Locals dog owners very aggressive towards other people they don’t know and dogs that they don’t know. I never write the reviews but if anyone of the readers were attacked by those individuals or their dogs, pictures below, you can contact me. I have a police report on them and the officer said if this harassment happens again by these people, they wouldn’t be able to visit the park anymore.they behave like you visit their backyard instead of public park.Me and my dog and other lady with a dog were attacked and harassed by two people and their several friends. Their dogs were very aggressive towards our dogs, tried attack them several times and the owners instead of calm down their dogs asked us to leave the park because their dogs don’t like our dogs and that they are always coming to the dog park and we are 1st time and that their dogs know each other this is why they are good with each other but not with new dogs. We told them that they should leave if their dogs are aggressive. Then they followed us in the park provoked their dogs toward our dogs, insulted us verbally, made us to leave. It was horrible discrimination, and was very stressful. We came from the far to enjoy the park and had to deal with all...

My dog was attacked by an intact Pitbull in the park and sustained serious injuries that required surgery. The Pitbull's owner fled the scene after blaming my dog for the attack. The absence of surveillance cameras in the park made it impossible to gather evidence to support our case, despite the presence of eyewitnesses. The lack of security measures in the park is concerning and puts the safety of visitors and their pets at risk. It's crucial that the authorities take action to address this issue and prevent similar incidents from happening in the future The Parks head ranger Marcus Santiago is useless! It’s questionable if he works 40 hours a week & he has raked in $1,000,000.00 of overtime just in 2011!! God knows how much more his “overtime” has cost us San Francisco tax payers!! I implore park authorities to take action and implement proper security measures, such as surveillance cameras, to prevent similar incidents from happening in the future. Until then, I will not be returning to this park and will be others to do the same! the city needs to HIRE honest and respectful people who actually care about the wellbeing of the...

Love it here! June is always so excited when we get to this park and runs straight to the small dog gate as soon as we’re inside. Well maintained and spacious on both the small and large dog sides of the park. Each of them has a sandy play area with lots of open space and some tree trunks and ramps for climbing, with more room given to a “grassy” area on the small dog side. I do wish it was a different ground cover as the fake grass can get slippery when it’s damp outside (or recently peed on…) and my pup has lost traction and taken a tumble a few times. Having a dedicated area for small dogs made a huge difference when I was first introducing my rescue pup to dog parks. June tries to put herself on yard duty and break up fights or roughhousing that gets too wild- cute in the independently fenced small dog side but a little scary when the other dogs are five times her size!

I love this park compare what it was to several years ago. I love the fact that they do have two sections one for small dogs and another side for larger dogs. Although the park not divided equally it is still large enough for smaller dogs to have fun. And yes they have tons of dog walkers but they are friendly. My dog and I when we visit we stay here for several hours. Also they do maintain the park really often so it’s fairly clean. I usually go in the morning when I do visit and there a nice group of regulars in the morning. I heard it does it busy in the afternoon as well.
