Lakeshore Plaza — Attraction in San Francisco

Don't tell everybody- but the ross here is kick-ass! Great selection, well organized, staff is professional, place is clean, esp the restroom, well organized merchandise (how do they do it ?? ) I'm really impressed b/c in other locations, the store is blasted out and seems like a hopeless train wreck of insurmountable disorganization.

HUGE selection of men's clothes. Shoes were decent- at least in my size (12) there was a great selection of some unique shoes I've not seen other Ross' carry. For instance, I found some great Nautica slip on "Vans" style casual mocassin, some killer Nikes that look like ninja assassin running booties, and a pair of hi top Supra brand shoes that retail $110 going for $35. They have a huge selection of back-packs, esp high end ones going for pretty cheap.

Anyhow, you know what I mean when I say it's a good Ross.

Plenty of parking, there's food options, Noah's being the fastest of food options, I think.. And a large Lucky's grocery is there as well.

It's a bit out of the way, but well worth it if you need to hit Big 5 and Ross, for instance, to prep for a trip or...

We went to the Ups Store, which is always a pleasant experience . Then, on to PetCo to get the special high fiber food the vet prescribed for our two little dogs. Well, it is Trixy, who needs the extra fiber to help with some glandular issues. They had the food we needed so....awesome! Surprisingly, they had the perfect leashes I had been looking all over town and on the web with no success. Generally, most pet stores, the big box, and the mom and pops usually don't have a good selection for little dogs. Maybe it was timing. I was finally able to find small collars and leashes that matched well with the expensive harnesses he had purchased for them. I can go to Lakeshore Plaza and take care of numerous things in one trip. I get packages delivered to either UPS or FedEx often. I have them hold the packages for me to pick up. Safer than being left on doorstep. They have a Petco and my dog loves going there to buy her food, toys, treats, or get her nails clipped. There's a post office where I buy stamps and a Ross that has many different things I need. I also like going to get shoes and clothes from Big5. There are a few places to get a bite to eat and a Lucky's where I can grocery shop and I use their pharmacy as well. The AAA office has saved me time when registering my vehicle.
