Great park in the west end of San Francisco in the park side / pine lake park neighborhood that extends from west portal to the sunset blvd. It’s very dog friendly, free summer concerts, a pond (and a lake) and plenty of trails for walking and running that are friendly to all fitness levels and ages. Beware of carol, she runs the summer camp in June until August by the lake and she hates dogs.

Very decent place to bring a dog. We have many friends here and we come here almost daily. However, this park could be a bit busy on weeknights after work, and it also brings many dog walkers during the day. Easy parking and flat terrain, benches, water , many other amenities make it a good dog park.

Beautiful huge dog park with a little lake and public tables, benches, and restrooms. Surprisingly Quiet too since it's surrounded by houses and tall trees in the hills all around it. Another great park in San Francisco to bring your fur baby on a nice sunny, breezy day!

I used to visit this park to take photos of the happy dogs long before I had one of my own. Now it's my no. 1 choice for walking with my dog who loves to run and socialize with other dogs whenever we are in San Francisco. No separation of dogs by the size is needed here as the open area for dogs is large enough to chase each other, play whatever it is that you play with them, in group or privately. There is plenty of sunny open space, wooded areas, benches, drinking fountains at all needed heights, public bathrooms, large parking and a great hiking down the grove if you live or shop in the...

Holy smokes, Pine Lake Park is a lovely gem in the city. Any time of day it's pretty much a dog party as long as you stay in the off leash area between the parking lot and the hedges to the west. It's chill, people are friendly and the dogs have a great time. Pick up after yourself and respect the on/off leash boundaries and everyone has...
