I drove up from Palo Alto last night on the way to Marin and I had to eat. It was late, the restaurants were about to close, and I was dying for authentic Chinese food, so as soon as I got off 280 onto 19th, I looked for a place. No internet search of reviews, just drove and used my gut. I see this place, it had the right style of Chinese characters and it was a noodle house - it ain't chop suey I figured. So I go in, it's take out only, and the family are seated around eating hot pot (not on their menu) and having wine. I tease the husband that what a great life this Covid is, staff partying in the dining room. Of course, I was being sarcastic, he knew it, and we chat. The food comes and I ask ask him if I can eat it safely in the corner as I am in my car passing thru and this you can't eat in the car. "Of course" - OMG, the best rice noodles ever, not like clear vermicelli, like wheat almost but gluten free (if that's your jam). I had the Pork belly, with the pepper sauce and the side of bone broth served with it. So good, it was exactly what I wanted. Thank...

The intestines dish is a steal- such generous portion of delicious intestines came with it!
I read a few negative comment about the service made me worried before going but after going I wouldn’t worry about it again as servers there are super nice! Obviously with in flatiron and the greatest resignation movement during Covid and this pandemic has impacted business and especially travel/ food industry, it’s understandable with less staffs but rest assure, they take good care of customer. In fact, they wouldn’t charge me for a mistake I made even when i insisted. They were so nice that I had to comp them by tipping a little bit more.
My only ask to the restaurant is to please create a special dish: Combine my favorite two dishes there to one: Spicy and sour intestine...
