Finally discovered this place because of COVID and having the time to discover the local gems such as San Bruno mountain - Twin Peaks and of course Mclaren Park! twisting trails to walk and bike in, a nice big field to throw my discs, a decent tennis court that's kind of hidden and even a skatepark that we didn't know was there until my gf pointed across the football field and soccer area and saw some skaters in the distance. My son and I checked it out and there was a freakin bowl with smaller half pipe area, some small banks etc. We were stoked but let me just say the bowl is pretty deep in the deep end and the half pipe or shallow end is maybe 4 - 5 feet, def rideable but surface is real gnarly and grafiti covered. I was completely surprised at how extensive and various the natural spaces were. You'll find eucalyptus, redwood, and oak forests all within a short walk of one another.
