This might be controversial but I think their super burrito is up there with La Taqueria. The mission style burrito had a perfect ratio of meat (cooked well, moist, and seasoned), beans, and other toppings. I loved that they include just a little bit of rice in the burrito, which helps it soak up a little moisture and is more filling compared to La Taqueria but not enough to compromise the flavor. Read moreAuthentic Mexican food. Good quality, fresh ingredients. Generous portions. My go to as of late is the chicken frahittas . Moist grilled chicken and a generous portion of grilled peppers and onions. Served with rice and choice of beans. They also have an excellent chicken mole. The chicken is served on the bone and with an delicious mole sauce. On the weekends definitely try the Menudo and the Pozole. Authentic, slow braised and both delicious. The restaurant is extremely clean. It has an open kitchen. So you can watch all the hardworking kitchen staff prepare your food. And say hello to Elena. The gracious cashier who orchestrates your experience....
